French doors open on to a west facing sunny deck with escarpment views to enjoy with morning coffee fresh from the coffee machine, or with an afternoon/evening glass of wine. BedroomsThe banksia bedroom has a king sized bed and the lyrebird room has two king single beds, all with gorgeous high quality linens. In the cooler months you will find quality electric blankets on all three beds. Both bedrooms include two luggage racks each. *The banksia bedroom can be configured to take 2 beds - the original king plus an added king single so we can now offer 4 separate comfy beds for a maximum of 4 guests. Please let us know if you would like this option this at the time of booking with a message - we do require a minimum of one week’s notice so we can rearrange the room and add the extra king single bed for you.BathroomA spacious bathroom contains an easy access shower as well as a separate bath to relax in after bushwalking and exploring. The entertainment corner features a TV and DVD player along with a plentiful supply of books, games, DVDs. There is local area information and Blue Mountains recommendations. The corner also has a device charging station for your use.You will only be 10 minutes walk away from Cahill’s Lookout with its breathtaking views in to the Megalong Valley. Careel Cottages are located on the South side of Katoomba just a short walk from the vibrant Main Street with all of the cafes, restaurants and shops. You will also be close to the main attractions.
