Plenty of space where everyone can enjoy time together. For a quiet night enjoy snuggling up to watch a movie on the smart TV or play some board games in front of the fireplace. For a day on the beach, we provide beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler to help you enjoy your day. Unwind at our nearby clubhouse, where you can access two outdoor heated swimming pools, lower pool is adult only after 2pm. The clubhouse boasts foosball, ping pong, Air hockey, bocce courts, and horseshoe pits. If you want to work out our state-of-the-art fitness center helps you stick to your workout routine. If you prefer to be outdoors you can enjoy walking around the quiet neighborhoods in our gated community or venture out to hike the Eastern trail. Have fun sitting by the fire pit or the fire bar and enjoy a few cocktails. If you like mini golf, it’s one minute away just outside the complex. Only 10 minutes away is Dock square, Kennebunkport and Kennebunk where you will find great restaurants and lots of shopping. If you love Christmas, come stay and experience the 43rd annual Christmas Prelude in Kennebunkport only 15 minutes away. This year the dates are Dec 5th-Dec 15th, 2024. During the Prelude in Kennebunkport, you can watch Santa Claus arrive by lobster boat during the annual Christmas Prelude, and there are many other festivities hosted throughout the holiday season. One of the best places to celebrate Christmas in New England, the town is picture-perfect, especially with holiday lights and a dusting of snow, ideal for photo-ops, while seashore holiday trolley rides, wine tasting and lobster bakes are hosted too. Our cottage is centrally located on a country road nestled among fabulous restaurants, live entertainment, hiking trails, beaches, boat tours, flea markets, antique shops, art studios, museums, golf courses, all within a 5 mile radius. Spend the day in any of the above activities then come back to our clean, serene cottage to rest up for your next adventure. Enjoy nature watching or read a good book from the lawn chairs. We take pride in our cleanliness! We even wash the couch cover and all throws between guests.No need to pack a lot , we supply most amenities like paper towels, toilet paper, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and cream rinse, first aide kit, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, dish detergent, trash bags, basic spices and condiments, coffee, tea, and sugar to get you started on your vacation. Polly’s Place is one of 2 houses that share a 5 acre private property located back off the road with a mixture of trees and lawn. This cottage was built by our Aunt Polly and Uncle Hans. We lived in it for years while building our forever home in the back of the property. It’s quiet here with a peacefulness you feel being close to nature. Polly’s Place features a full size kitchen and dining room, a large comfortable living room, two bedrooms, a large bathroom, office area, and laundry area. All bedrooms have blackout shades. The night sky is pitch black perfect for stargazing. Enjoy the large yard area and gas grill. There’s no need to pack sheets and towels since all linens are provided. Locally owned meat market, seafood stores and farm stands are conveniently located nearby. Visit the quaint coastal towns of Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Cape Porpoise and Wells; featuring great restaurants, shopping, golfing, and sightseeing. Take a scenic coastal cruise or go whale watching, fishing, surfing, kayaking or just spend the day relaxing on the many local beaches. Portland is only 20 miles away. Take a train from Wells (10 miles away) to Portland or Boston.
