Welcome to our home in Sackets Harbor. Our home offers a beautiful scenic waterside view on a wildlife reserve about 3 miles from Downtown Sackets Harbor! You can find waterfront dining restaurants, local stores, historical sites on the battlefield, and boat lounge docks for small to large watercraft. At Sackets, there is always a lot going on throughout the seasons, including festivals and other entertainment.The Space is newly renovated. We have one full main bedroom with a full bath on the first floor, one guestroom with one queen, and the loft space on the second floor has one full bed and a comfortable sofa bed. We also have a full kitchen that includes everything you need, ranging from cooking pot to plates to condiments, all on-site. Our porch is big enough for you and your family or friends to chill out and relax. The backyard is shaded and cool during hot summer days thanks to the trees around the area, which have a swing and hammock to relax on. Outdoor activities such as corn hole on land and kayaks for the water are all offered in our space, along with other outdoor games and a bonfire pit to roast up some tasty smores and other delicious treats at night. We also have a 50-inch smart TV on site where you can access your favorite apps like YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, Disney +, ESPN, etc. In the end, we wish you a relaxing and enjoyable stay.P.S. If you love fishing, you've come to the right place. Our home is the perfect destination for year-round fishing, including the ever-popular ice fishing, with the added convenience of snowmobile access during winter. Voted one of the coolest small towns in North America, the cottage is now open for your vacationing pleasure.Just one block from the majestic St.Lawrence river and walking distance from the Antique Boat Museum. There are many shops, restaurants and marinas to choose from. By the way, Clayton is located between scenic Cape Vincent and Alexandria Bay. If you get tired of shopping, the fishing is great as well--, located near French creek and Frink park where you can fish from the wall or bring your boat and use the ramp by the Antique Boat Museum. Charming, rustic cottage that sits in a very calm, protected bay with a view of the channel and the ships passing as they slowly go up and down the St. Lawrence River. There are 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a living room, and sunroom and kitchen. Two of the bedrooms have full/double size beds with TVs in each. The third bedroom has twin beds in it. Each bedroom has air-conditioning for the extremely hot, humid, nights.And there are ceiling fans through out the cottage. (Please note: the ceilings are low in the cottage)The kitchen was redone in the Spring of 2018, with new cabinets, full propane stove, microwave, dishwasher and countertops. The new kitchen allows the chef to prepare and/or clean up, while talking to their quests as they sit in either the living room and/or the sunroom. Never missing out on a conversation.Don't feel like cooking inside....There is a gas grill with a side burner for all your barbecuing needs, with necessary cooking utensils.There is also a nice fire pit for late night fires, ghost stores and s'mores.There is a private floating dock and a large deck to sit and enjoy the view, while you get lost in your dreams.Internet TV is available with guest options. There is a 50" inch TV in the living room and TV in 2 of the bedrooms,There is also WiFi for those who need to stay connected or may need to get some work done while away. Password is provided upon arrival. Cellular service is generally very good. Owners have Verizon service and have never had a problem.Children and pets are welcome, but please contact the owner directly, in regards to the pets. There is a pet fee of $150 per petThe St. Lawrence River offers some of the best fishing in NY State. However, if fishing is not your thing, there are many local shops, wineries, play grounds and Clayton Boat Tours actually runs right out of the same bay. So much to do you will run out of time.Then again, you may just be happy sitting, reading a book and looking at all of the beauty!!Please note: There is a cleaning fee of $250, of which $50 is refundable if the cottage is left in good condition.(Due to COVID 19; the cleaning service requires at least 4 hours to properly clean the cottage and provide the cleanest environment possible. Year round lake loving at the “Lake Life” cottage…….Boating, fishing, family! This secluded cottage sits directly on Lake of the Isles and a short walk to DeWolf State Park. Accessible by private driveway with plenty of parking for 3-4 vehicles or launch your boat at DeWolf State Park and in 30 seconds, arrive at the cottage and moor your boat during your stay. Surrounded by mature trees, you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the lake. *****Newly drilled well 12/24 Inside, the cottage has 3 bedrooms (bedroom 1-queen and twin futon chair; smart tv; bedroom 2-1 queen; bedroom 3-two full beds and smart tv); 1 bathroom with stand up shower and a combined kitchen/living room with sofa bed. A deck off the living room offers a great view of the lake with plenty of outdoor seating and a smoker. As you walk down the stairs towards the water, you will find a charcoal grill as well as a screenhouse with a table and chairs to enjoy meals outside. There's also a fire pit and outdoor tv. Grab firewood from around the property or bring your own. At the water, there is a large floating dock. You'll enjoy swimming and great fishing from the dock. Fishing poles and kayaks are available for your enjoyment. (Floating dock will be removed for the season on October 31st) Self check-in; Two night minimum stay April-June; Sept-Oct.; 7 night minimum stay July and August. If you need less than 7 days, reach out and we will see if we can accommodate. For security reasons, we did recently install a camera at the back of the cottage to see the parking area and entrance to the walkway. We know that sometimes guests may have friends of family in the area. If you plan to have additional guests visit beyond what you registered, please reach out to us first as we want to be respectful of our neighbors and do not want large parties. Please let us know when booking if you plan to bring your pet (Dogs allowed. No cats please.) You need to make sure you monitor your pet at all times. The deck is gated if you wish to have your dog loose.
