The Villa Rose Hotel & V-Spa

Recently stayed at the hotel and from initial checking in to checking out it was a five star expedience.Accommodation was excellent , food fabulous , staff exceptional and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable ! I have stayed here on several occasions before and plan to return in the near future ! Great location, fabulous spa , didn’t avail on this visit but have in the past ! We had our wedding reception here on Friday. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue. From start to finish, the staff were absolutely incredible – so attentive, professional, and genuinely lovely to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day. The food was simply outstanding – every single guest commented on how delicious it was! From the drinks reception food to the main course and even the even buffet, everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing – the team took care of every detail so we could just enjoy our night and soak in every moment. One of our favourite parts was the beautiful cottage and the gardens. It felt like something out of a fairytale – full of rustic character and warmth. The open lit turf fire added such a special touch. The gardens themselves were immaculate, filled with lush greenery, colourful blooms, and peaceful little paths to explore. If you're looking for a wedding venue where the staff go above and beyond and the food is out of this world, this is the place. Highly, highly recommended! We felt so well looked after and relaxed knowing we were in such capable hands. Thank you to everyone involved for making our day so special – we’ll never forget it! We eat in this lovely hotel every time we go north in Donegal. It never disappoints in food quality and freshness. On this occasion however, the waiter was a little inexperienced in how to be pleasant to patrons, most likely to lack of training or relatively new to position, its managements job to ensure customer satisfaction, this requires addressing. We normally leave a tip but not on this occasion, don’t let standards drop and get your 5 stars next time
