No dry and wet seperation in bathroom, papers are moistured, electricity was out, thats beyond any of my staying in any hotels, theres almost nothing in the room. *** ** ***** ** ********* ** ****, this is not a 4 star hotel.
El hotel está en la zona de La defense, a 10 minutos andando de la estación de metro. Es una zona tranquila y con muchos restaurantes alrededor.
Nosotros nos alojamos con mis dos hijas y estuvimos cómodas para visitar desde allí Paris.
Standard Mercure - you know what you are paying for. On the positive side - good breakfast, stable WiFi. The location is OK-ish - not much things around, you need a bus to get to La Defense, the bus stop is just across the road and it runs every 10-15 minutes. But the service is way under the expectations. We had an issue with our reservations and I'm confident that in any other hotel it would be resolved in 2 min and with a smile. Here we had to spend lots of time and negative energy to get things finally sorted.

Nice hotel with bad service. I am really shocked about the arrogant service I did recieve at this hotel. If You need a quilt # 2 (in order get 2 seperate quilts) I was tolded to rent a additional room to get 2 quilts. Madness. Will not stay there again. PS. The staff at the top-bar at 12th floor is wondefull!

I have stayed in this hotel over last 3 years without issue due to its location to my international office. This time many issues were experienced. I was unable to book an 8night stay via Accor website so made two 4 night bookings. I emailed the Mercure prior to arrival to link the bookings to ensure I did not have to move rooms. This request was confirmed in writing. Upon arrival, the check in system did not reflect this request, and after some searching, I was told I did not have to move rooms during my 8night stay as per email request. Every morning, i had to use the fire stairs from the 9th floor to attend breakfast as the lifts were not functioning - they stopped at every floor even if no one was waiting. The doors would open and close many times at each floor. I took a video to show the concierge that the lifts needed attention (doors were damaged which prevented them from closing properly), and this was ignored. I advised that the TV reception was poor across most channels and this too was ignored. After the 'first 4night stay', I returned to the hotel after work to find the room key had been deactivated. I presented to the concierge via the stairs (as 2 tour buses had arrived which blocks reception) with the room key and my booking details and after some time, the room key was reactivated. At 11pm that night, my personal safety was violated when someone entered my room with a room key issued by concierge. I received a call from the concierge asking who I was and requested to present myself at the concierge to prove who I was and provide my booking reference for the stay. At nearly midnight! Since checking out on 26 Oct, I have emailed 5 times requesting my final invoice and have received nothing to date. I have emailed the hotel direct as well and still nothing. A pre-authorization charge of more than $3500 AUD is pending on my credit card as the checkout process has not been finalized (which should remove the pending charge). This pending charge deems the credit card unusable as limit is reached. As a Gold Accor Member, this was an extremely disappointing experience.
