Cresta Et Duc Hotel

We were so happy that Crest et Duc was our lodging in Courmayeur while we were hiking the TMB. The staff were warm, friendly, and accommodating. The meals were delicious and we could not have asked for a better experience and we got to stay with them three nights. Grazie Mille.

On a sunny day in Cormayeur I stopped to enjoy a coffee with a badly injured knee. The lounge area was an oasis of calm. My coffee was perfectly presented and the staff member was positively charming. He made the best of a difficult, uncomfortable day. Thankyou so much for a lovely coffee break.

Situated a 4 minute walk from the main gondola for skiing access the hotel is more convenient than most in the town. Our room was a nice double with a balcony over the front aspect of the hotel. The room was very clean and it was serviced every day. Additionally all the public areas were spotless and all the staff very professional yet friendly. Help with cases to our room- not frequently offered on skiing holidays I have found. A night Manager was present so reception member of staff was always on hand 24/7 if help was needed and made for an easy check out at 5:45am The restaurant food was excellent and attractively presented. Breakfast offered something for everyone in generous amounts. Evening meal menu likewise but only seemed to offer omelette as vegetarian option and no vegan meals ( we stayed a week ) . I would inquire if that is what you need before booking I expect they could make something else with warning. Despite covid we were able to use the sauna by informally booking a 40 minute slot. The facilities offered were small but adequate- sauna, steam room, showers and basic gym equipment. Boot room was also quite small but most ski hire shops offer storage facilities for a fee.

I am not a review writer, but wanted to take a moment to share the wonderful experience we had staying at this hotel. We had 2 nights here during our week-long TMB hike, and really appreciated the break. The hotel facilities and rooms were very pleasant, but it was the staff that made our visit particularly memorable - specifically the front desk staff who helped with luggage transfer and lots of information about the town, the night audit who set up an early breakfast for us, as well as the very entertaining and lovely gentleman at the bar - they were all so kind and helpful, and are a big asset to this hotel! We have passed on our thanks to the hotel directly, and will definitely return if in the area again.

My son and I stayed here for three nights for a ski trip. The staff - from the front desk to the bar man - are very helpful and friendly. The main areas are comfortable, charming and clean. Enjoyed being in the sitting/lounge area and having a cocktail and the bar man always remembered my favorite drink - and brought fresh foccacia for a little snack! The location can't be beat - a half block down to the cable car and a half block to town. I wish I had known to ask for a room NOT facing the street - we were on the second floor street-side and it was incredibly noisy. The rooms were clean but a bit basic, small and dated compared to what you might expect after seeing the main areas. I'd definitely stay here again but request a room not on the street side. The food - breakfast was fine, great pastries, wonderful service and nice atmosphere. Didn't care for the dinners - the atmosphere was a bit somber and the menu limited and rather heavy dishes, but the food was very fresh if you like those kind of heavy meals.

The staff are amazing (stupefacente!) and went out if their way numerous times to help us. The hotel is very well situated, close to both the cable car and the old town. Rooms were typical and functional for a European ski hotel. We would certainly stay here again
