Hotel Edelweiss

Me and my husband had the pleasure of staying here for a week. It is a simple family owned hotel, but my god did they make everything to make us feel comfortable here. The rooms are comfortable and good sized, breakfast is genereous compaired to other Italian hotels. But the most important thing to us was the warm and helpful atmosphere. Daletta in the reception did literaly everthing to help: booked restaurants, gave directions and tips, explained how things work, booked spa ... well everthing. Her father and cousin also did there best to give service. Not to mention the receptionist cat Lilly. If we ever come back to this part of the world we will definitely stay here again. What an amazing experience. Staff super friendly and helpful in every aspect. Very nice old-style hotel, if you want to have the original Courmayeur experience, this is the hotel for you. Breakfast was rich, room clean, great view from the room and beautiful bar where you can sit, have coffee or a glass of wine and play checkers or chess by the fire. Diletta at the desk made us feel comfortable as soon as we stepped in, we will come back here next year 100%. Note: for skiers or snowboarders, there is a room for your equipments if you don’t want to rent a locker.

Perfect , almost . Diletta owner/manager was great Helpful , knowledgeable and very friendly Room , basic but perfectly good. Clean and functional . Great view room 38. Bar and lounge fine. Location excellent . Only thing I would have liked would be a boiled egg st breakfast or porridge , something warm . Breakfast lady lovely Gave me hot chocolate every day without asking x I would return for sure if they gave me an egg ! 😂👍

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the lovely Hotel Edelweiss! The service was absolutely amazing and the location was perfect. We truly felt like we were part of the family that owned and operated the hotel. An example of the amazing service was all of the hard work the concierge put into making dinner reservations for us, given that we are vegetarians. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again some day!!!

We had a great stay at Hotel Edelweiss. Ski cable car is 8 minutes walk and the hotel has all the ski storage facilities. This is a perfect family owned and run hotel for a family holiday. The owners who run the hotel were really helpful and made dinner reservations. They both spoke excellent english and nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and fine and a good view at the front. Room service every day. The sitting are next to the reception has recently been done up and great for relaxing, reading and playing cards. Breakfast started at 730 am and was fine with croissants, toast, cereal and fresh orange juice. The Lady was working very hard in the Breakfast room. 5 minutes walk from the bus station. I would highly recommend this hotel for a family holiday

We really liked staying here, that atmosphere was great and the hosts very hospitable! The breakfast was really good and we enjoyed tea every evening while playing cards. They also arranged all our dinner reservations which was particularly helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Courmayeur.
