I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Epiphyte BnB, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, Matt, the host, was incredibly hospitable and made me feel right at home. His warmth and friendliness set the tone for my entire stay. The BnB itself is very comfortable, peaceful, and impeccably clean. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The serene surroundings add to the charm, making it an ideal place to unwind and relax. One of the highlights of my stay was Matt's invaluable advice on local activities and attractions. He recommended the best places to visit, ensuring I made the most of my trip. His insights were spot on, and I had some amazing experiences thanks to his suggestions. Breakfast at The Epiphyte BnB was a delightful experience. The food was delicious, and it offered a perfect opportunity to meet and hang out with other guests. Sharing stories and getting to know fellow travelers added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay. If you're looking for a calm and relaxing getaway, I highly recommend The Epiphyte BnB. My stay at Epiphyte BnB was one of the highlights of my Australian adventure so far. Coming back from an exciting day of jungle exploration to relaxing in a hammock with my favourite book listening to the rain was just the best feeling. The hand-built property is a welcoming and open environment with a focus on green and sustainable-living and is perfectly located for those seeking to explore the rainforest and cape Tribulation. I very much enjoyed having great conversations with the host, Matt - whom is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area having come to Daintree to build Epiphyte many years ago. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at Epiphyte BnB if you’re looking for the perfect retreat to base yourself whilst exploring the Daintree rainforest.

Excellent stay, great host, great company. The breakfast simple but fantastic. Beautiful setting - good location Cannot recommend it highly enough. Definitely will return if we visit the Daintree again.

This is the best B&B I've ever stayed in. Owner-operator Matt was so helpful, and his breakfasts are AMAZING. The rooms are cozy and clean - and you can't take that for granted in a steamy tropical environment. It's in the perfect location to tour the Daintree - central to everything. Make the most of the opportunity to chat with Matt and other guests, the place is set up to be a temporary community.

Epiphyte B&B has some nice lodges with an outdoor kitchen surrounded by rainforest. Breakfast is offered in a pleasant, large open building. The breakfast is luxurious and consists for amatory part from fresh fruit. In addition there is locally produced jam. Everything offered with the sound of rainforest. De not forget to cross the street and have a nocturnal bushwalk.

Matt is so knowledgeable about the area and offers great advice! It’s a beautiful location and convenient to reach all the Daintree. Matt has done an amazing job building an eco conscious retreat. The water is all rainfall and the electricity is solar. Neither was lacking quality. Thank you for having us! It’s easy to book directly with Matt.

We spent a couple of nights in this place and it looks as if you are in Paradise. The knowledge of the owner on the Park and in the area in general is exceptional. If you have a query just ask Matt! he will be able to guide you to the best option. We really enjoyed our stay and the only regret is that we could not spend more time in this property. Breakfast was also great, a big plate of delicious fruit! Thanks Matt for the hospitality!

This amazing bed and breakfast was the highlight of my trip to Australia. The accommodation is beautiful- set in wonderful scenery, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The showers are good and Matt serves a fantastic breakfast. Matt gives excellent advice on what to see- who to book and offers a relaxing and enjoyable stay. It couldn’t have been better.

I’ve enjoyed the stay in Epiphyte in every single aspect. Every mornig you can go wash yourself in a creek near by (if you want, shower is there too). Then you have breakfast with lots of fruits (most of them you’ve never heard of), delicious marmalades and jams from church ladies (the best was chilli jam) and cereals. Coffee and tea is also included. Than you recieve detailed briefing (if you want) to know everything you can do nearby. We’ve been there for 4 nights and it was just enough to do the main things there. You get really lots of wildlife there (cassowaries, crocodiles, reptiles, butterflies, all kinds of plants, atc.). One of the things I most enjoyed was the adventure bed. Shortly said, it’s bed outside on the porch. Another amazing thing about the Epiphyte is that it is running mainly on rain water and electricity from solar pannels. Štěpán and family from Czechia
