The Union Inn

🙂酒店地理環境優越，非常近碼頭， 附近有超級市場，巴士站，食肆 等。酒店後門有海濱長廊可以散步日落很美。 房間尚算寬敞 😮‍💨酒店wifi非常弱，經常斷線 😔酒店樓下是酒吧每晚非常嘈雜 早餐不值一提，提供的面包不新鮮 not recommend 😕

We came with a large group, waited ages to be served. The staff weren't the friendliest, no smiles at all. One waitress brought the cutlery over and carelessly tossed it on the table, the staff seemed stressed which led to them being a bit rude! The cup and cutlery were dirty. We waited 50 minutes for our breakfasts, on arrival, the waitresses didn't apologise for the wait which seemed very rude. I had the avocado on toast which as you can see in the photo, was very lacking. The ketchup was out of date. We didn't complain which is our fault but we had waited so long, that we just wanted to eat and leave. I wouldn't recommend this pub for breakfast at all.

Lovely pub - excellent service from the lady working (on her own.) But the food - my goodness. Sunday roast last week was awful and one of the worst meals eaten out. Two boned chicken thighs for a roast?! Undercooked potatoes, minimal veg etc. Didn't complain at the time as the girl working didn't need any hassle as she was so lovely.

We went to Cowes with Friends and decided to stop somewhere for lunch , we found the Union Inn looked like it would have a nice lunch menu . We went to order our food at the bar after a previous bad experience with a beefburger my partner asked if my burger could be well cooked the girl behind the bar rolled her eyes and looked at her friend sat at the bar which was very rude. We ordered our food and waited absoulutely ages for it to arrive there was only one other table sat down for food god knows how they would cope if it gets busy. When the food arrived I asked which one of the bugers was well done her response was the Chef said it's cooked when it's cooked. I understand some chefs don't like over cooking some food but it wasn't a michelin star resturant where i'm ordering a lovely steak it was just a burger , and if the customer asks for it to be more cooked then as your paying for it the chef should cook it as the paying customer requests. Very rude won't be going back.

Have been in cowes for just over a day and third time of eating here. The food is fab and not ponsy. The atmosphere is great and very friendly. The staff can't do enough. Landlord is brilliant and very welcoming. Highly recommend and would definitely come back

Popped in as heard about the new breakfast menu so thought I would give it a try on my morning walk. Definitely worth the stop, the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The pub was very clean and tidy and cosy feeling to it. I chose my breakfast from the menu on the table and placed my order at the bar. The food arrived promptly and very well presented, it was hot and very tasteful.. well worth the money and glad I stopped off. If you haven’t been in yet give it a try and I most certainly will be stopping in again!
