The hotel is decent, but the service is terrible. Both receptionists that I saw and interacted with were probably the least friendly and helpful people I met in the city. They both seemed to be much more interested in their phones than in servicing customer. It’s a shame as the hotel’s location is great.

A very good hotel with an excellent location in the city center, the room is clean, the staff is very nice. Even though the location is in the center it has parking available for a fee near the hotel. I recommend for business travelers and not only.

Hotel Splendid in Craiova deserves a 5-star rating. The staff is attentive, the rooms are comfortable, and the service is exceptional. Highly recommended!

Very bad experience, smelly room, dirty bathroom, horrifying sight from window (see the photos ), very poor breakfast. There is no SPA as advertised, gym room is awfull, smelly and without a window or air conditioning. This is definitely not a 4 stars hotel.

While the room is pretty, buyer beware. Air conditioning is listed as a room amenity but ONLY if the hotel has deemed fit to turn it on for the whole building. The temperature in our room was 30.5 C or 87° F when we arrived and the only windows are so high we had to stand on the back of a chair to reach them to open. Even then there was very little air movement. One of our complimentary water bottles was over half empty. The refrigerator was inoperable so in addition to a hot room we had hot water. The registration staff was less than friendly. There is no shower, per se, only a tub with a hand held shower wand. I have never written a bad review for a hotel so trust me when I say this is not the place to stay. I am giving it 3 stars rather than 2 to account for the look and location. Steer clear.

Hotel staff is very rude. Facilities are poor. Daily amenities are not good and No support from staff even after asking for something. They do not understand English and are not interested to entertain the guests.

Horrible staff I checked in at 13:00 with a temperature room of 28 degrees and specifically askee the staff twice to fix the AC. Upon my return in the room at night they did not fix nor been able to provide a fan stating that its not their problem, more than that they are not a client service office… I was at the reception 😂😂😂 I

The name of hotel is actually the review of it. In the historical center, close to all the most interesting places, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, next to Marin Soresku National Theatre. Romm was spacious enough, the reception stuff is very helpful

The best hotel in town, located in historical area,near Christmas ma rket. The room was big and silent, I traveled with my 9 month child. The breakfast was tasty and varied. The hotel staff was helpful.

Auto: ein Parkplatz in der Nähe vorhanden, muss angemietet werden. Schlüssel erhält man an der Rezeption. Durch die Parksituation vor Ort ist es aber schwierig vor dem Parken einzuchecken und den Schlüssel zu holen. Restaurant: nicht vorhanden Frühstück: kleines, sehr schick angerichtetes, süßes und deftiges Buffet Personal: freundlich, hilfsbereit und englischsprachig Zimmer: war gut, das Doppelbett hatte eine große Bettdecke. Fenster hatte kein Insektengitter, durch die Gardinen konnte der Raum aber trotzdem geschützt werden. Die Klimaanlage hatte zwar eine Erklärung, aber hat nicht das gemacht was sie sollte, der Raum wurde immer wärmer, daher nachts Lüftung über Fenster. Das Zimmer ging nach hinten raus, so dass es trotz großer Straße und Restaurants sowie Festival sehr ruhig im Zimmer war. Lage: sehr zentral, am Rande der Fußgängerzone (daher auch keine direkte Anfahrt möglich).
