I seriously would like to comment my stay at Alannia Costa Blanca, this is our ninth winter stay at Alannia Costa Blanca, my reason for this comment is that I am not sure if we shall be coming back due to my wife Frances conditions with dementia, however I would like to express my gratitude and feelings for this fantastic resort, the staff in all the service departments, resepsjon, restaurant, cleaning staff that cleans the toilet building to perfection ( I have a job getting my Willy to come out because it’s so clean) and definitely the administration for Alannia Costa Blanca. You are absolutely spectacular to us,. But there is people on this site that’s well so important, and, this must never be forgotten, and that’s the guests, the visitors and the residents, those are the people that’s makes the atmosphere on the site, I allow myself Dawn Evans Abbotte of them, we have Steven Gain and his wife Bianca that goes around helping people to put their ownings up and cloth on the pitch so we got real comfort ♥️ then we have DawnDeb LeeAbbott that efficiently informs us all what entertainment we may take part in, and her friend Brian Parson, these are people that’s really means a lot for our wellbeing on the site, then we have my nigbour Deb Lee with her lovely little dog Elley, that’s informed us about the wind tonight it’s going to be a rattling night… So my friends you sure all have been a very big contribution to making our nine winters stay at Alannia Costa Blanca a unforgettable pleasure, none of you shall never ever be forgotten, I take my hat off to you all, none of you will ever know what a great part of our lives you have played 🎩 My the sun shine forever at the crack off Dawn,,,,,, I seriously would like to comment my stay at Alannia Costa Blanca, this is our ninth winter stay at Alannia Costa Blanca, my reason for this comment is that I am not sure if we shall be coming back due to my wife Frances conditions with dementia, however I would like to express my gratitude and feelings for this fantastic resort, the staff in all the service departments, resepsjon, restaurant, cleaning staff that cleans the toilet building to perfection ( I have a job getting my Willy to come out because it’s so clean) and definitely the administration for Alannia Costa Blanca. Massive site. We stayed in a 3 bed static caravan, booked half board. BUT we weren't told that half board evening meals were restricted to after 8 in the evening! The "room" was great for 2 people, but would be cramped for 6. Wouldn't all be able to sit around the dining table. No oven, although there is a microwave. No kettle.

The great thing about this site is that management take notice of your comments . They acted on our complaints and corrected them all that is a real plus. A five star site needs to be able to do this and they have done so. August is z very busy month for all vacation facilities but Alannia corrected all our issues

We stayed here in our caravan as part of the Caravan and Motorhome Club Winter Holiday in February and March 2025. The site is clean, tidy and welcoming. The toilet blocks and other facilities are modern, well maintained and cleaned regularly. The recycling options were very welcome. The standard pitches are spacious enough for all but the largest of units. On all the pitches in our area (blocks E & F) there was grey water drainage, water supply, electricity hookup and TV connection with a variety of what could be called Freeview Channels although stormy weather did impact some transmissions. WiFi can be bought as an extra and we would do that next time. The gym and swimming pool were excellent and, for us, worth the additional monthly subscription of €30. The staff there were always friendly and helpful. Like any gym, there were times when it was busy, so we just planned accordingly. A minor gripe is that it does not open until 9.30 am. Back home we would typically go for an 8 am start. The “Animations” team organise regular sessions of tennis and Padel tennis, where you turn up and mix in. Watch the App to find out the schedule although in our last few days it was not working. The bar was very good. A Happy Hour every Monday and Thursday with entertainment of various kinds. Most of the staff were friendly, helpful and tolerated our attempts a pigeon Spanish. Depending what you drink it can be slightly more than UK but is generally much cheaper. A bottle of decent house wine is €11, choose red or rose though. We attended one Dinner Dance organised by the site itself which was very good and value at €22 for a three course meal. The reception staff were all helpful and do their very best to assist and to resolve any issues. There is an onsite shop which had a good selection when we arrived in February, but towards the end of our stay in March, they were clearly running down the stock in anticipation of a lull in business before the summer season started. As you expect with an onsite shop, prices are a little higher than local shops, which also have a greater variety and quality of some items. (Fresh meat and Fish counters at Consum) My real beef may seem a little pedantic to others but here goes. Whilst we were there the Rugby Six Nations was in progress and the matches were shown live in the bar – excellent!! There was a sign on the bar with major Guinness branding that said there was a 15% discount on drinks ordered during the matches. However, what it did not say was that it only applied to drinks bought at the bar and, most surprisingly given the branding, it did not apply to Guinness!!! When I raised both these with what I took to be the bar manager, he just told me “That’s the way it is!” The relatively small amount involved is no big deal, but the response was completely at odds with the helpful approach of all the other staff in the bar and elsewhere.
