Craigbank Guest House

Friendly welcome, nice sitting area for guests with tea and coffee available. We had room 6 which is a downstairs room. Clean and tidy but limited space. On the main road which is busy with heavy traffic. Our friends had room 3 upstairs which was more spacious. Breakfast was required to be ordered the evening before, plenty to choose from, though no poached egg option. Gluten free available but served in same toaster as “ normal” bread which suggests same toaster used…not ideal for anyone coeliac. Resulted in my friend not daring to try her toast. On the whole was clean, good hosts and quite comfy beds

Kind and helpful hosts ! Very comfortable rooms; nicely decorated, present atmosphere. I liked that the guest house also had a lounge we could use with couches and coffee and tea facilities. Great place to stay. Hosts were welcoming and very helpful. The entire village had run out of food and it was impossible for us to eat dinner so they immediately gut started on making us, and other guests, chips and sandwiches in a pinch. Breakfast is good and served in a nice atrium.

Absolutely fantastic stay, great breakfasts, nothing too much to ask of our hosts, if an issue was raised, it was actioned immediately (shower room extract fan died). Very comfortable rooms with everything you could need. We are a a party of three photographers each having our own room and talking to my fellow travellers, it appears there is a range of room types to cover the needs of most travellers! The property is perfect short drive from the Glencoe sites. All in all a great stay.

Perfect hosts, perfect location, perfect B&B We give Veronica and Colin a 15 out of 10 for their friendly and very sincere welcome plus all the little extras and attention to detail they provide that makes your stay with them extra special. Their breakfast is superb and Veronica prides herself on her Continental Breakfast and she does a fabulous spread. It is so good! The bed, linen and toiletries are all high quality which adds to the charm and warmth of this special time with them. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Came as guests...left as friends If your looking for a warm genuine welcome where nothing is too much trouble then look no further, other than to make a note of their number. We have been to many hotels and guests houses during our lifetime, however never met a couple's hosting ability like Veronica and Collins. From the moment their door opens you are greeted with 2 beaming smiles and a warm welcome. On entering you are instantly taken care of which is really appreciated after a long drive. You are shown and orientated to your room with all the important features highlighted such as breakfast room and menus, ensuite bathroom and refreshments all of which allows you to relax and start to unwind, just like you would if you were kicking back at home. Both Veronica and Collin have extensive knowledge of the area and share it generously with you. They intuitively direct you to what restaurants are available that evening, which is extremely valuable especially towards the end of the season. Even though you could be staying in a full guesthouse, the experience Veronica and Collin provides you with makes you feel like your the only ones there. You almost feel surprised in seeing other guests at breakfast. This must be because the other guests are so well catered for (by the hosts) you just don't hear them until you see them at breakfast the next day. We have had the pleasure in coming to Craig Bank Guest house for a number of years now and Veronicas and Collins consistent high standards in every aspect of hospitality means we have found our 'traveling home'. We know that in spending a night here we are guaranteed a good night's sleep, waking up feeling refreshed, washed with a full tum ready for the onward journey. Veronica and Collin are an amazing duo who take such pride in their work and genuinely care about your stay. Other establishments both large and small could learn alot from these guys as they seam to get a lot of repeat custom, which suggests to me it's in how they execute their delivery...leaving people wanting more. Nevermind X factor these people have the 'Unique Factor' thank you both for the most amazing stays and we will look forward to many more in our 'traveling home'.
