Golden Nugget Hotel Cripple Creek

I wish that the listing actually mentioned that the pool is not in the premises but at a different site. I also wished that it was more quiet at night. I heard a lot of footsteps around me up until 1am. It was hard to sleep.

The staff (Dana) was very informative about places to eat and her suggestions were on point.

Worst customer service ever! The customer service was awful, when we arrived for check in the front desk help was rude, when we asked for the best place to park. During our check in process the front desk got a call from a guest that was having issues with their TV, and the front desk person said, he didn’t know how to fix it and told them to try to fix it themselves. The next morning my husband when down to the front desk to ask where he could get coffee and the front desk person said they did know in a rude tone. When we were checking out the front desk person was yelling at a guest about their reservations, and that it was not her fault that the guest didn’t know how to book the correct room. Worst customer service experience I’ve had in a very long time. Hotel location was great, but do to the terrible customer service we will never stay there again and wouldn’t recommend staying there to friends and family.

The overall service was good until I had to check out. There was no one at the desk to check out. Finally, a young lady named Valerie appeared with a blanket around her. She was rude and very unpleasant. It appeared that she was sleeping and didn't want to be bothered. I called and left a message for a manager, but I've not received a call back.

Room itself was nice. Bed not so much. May as well sleep on the floor.
