A lovely hotel but the best bit is the owner, Terri, she is such a lovely host and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Amazing freshly cooked full english breakfast with top quality produce. Lovely and clean spacious room. Would highly recommend.

Prior to being in Bath for the rugby, we had a day in Wells and stayed at the Cross as a halfway stop. This is one of the nicest B&Bs we have ever stayed in. We were welcomed by Terri with the offer of tea and scone which was much appreciated. Our room was Sheppey which is spacious and very comfortable. The Cross is an old building with an interesting history, which has been renovated with the utmost care. You can almost feel that history as you sit down to breakfast, which was superb. We will certainly stay here again when next in this part of the country.

A lovely place to stay! A last minute cancellation, we decided to book this b&b and it was nothing else but a delight. The host, the food, cleanliness and atmosphere was everything you want from a getaway weekend. We will definitely be returning.

Super comfortable B&B with a lovely host, delicious breakfast and what a stunning location! Everything looked recently decorated, bathrooms spotless, beds were perfect. The Pub next door had wonderful food too. Close to Wells and Bruton.

The Cross is special; the best B&B I know with a great selection of rooms. I've lost count of how many times I've stayed here, and always look forward to returning, so it's about time I wrote a review! Comfy beds, good bathrooms, cosy but spacious rooms, and sympathetically refurbished. Its history is there to enjoy as you sit having a delicious breakfast - with many options on offer. None of this would feel the same if it wasn't for Terri, the perfect host; friendly, helpful and accommodating, (supported by a great team), who had the vision to make this the B&B we find today. Perfect.

Terri is a perfect host welcoming you on arrival with tea/ coffee and scones, the rooms are spot less, spacious and come with everything you need, we even had a kitchen diner in ours, the breakfast is either a decent cold selection and/or cooked to order, the location is great for seeing the local attractions Terri is full of local and surrounding area knowledge and is more than happy to share it with you, we have stayed here more or less once a year since Terri opened it and would recommend the cros at croscombe to anyone.

This bed and breakfast is the best!!! My sister and I stayed here for two nights and we had a wonderful stay. Our room was luxurious, comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom and everything you would need for an overnight stay. We received the warmest welcome so we really felt at home - delightful courtyard garden and the cosiest lounge ever! Breakfast is exceptional, and all the staff are so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Thank you so much Terri for a fabulous stay.

Terri gave us the warmest welcome with a cup of tea and looked after our every need. The rooms are very well furnished and maintained and she keeps the whole property spotlessly clean. Terri works tirelessly throughout the whole day and we really enjoyed our stay with her. Would highly recommend.
