Stay. Here. Location. Style. Sparkling Clean. Big rooms with 10’ ceilings. Modern quartz bathroom. Great shower. Lovely staff. Elevator! Rooftop City view Restaurant & Bar with great music, vibe, wonderful food & drinks. We hung out there every night during our 3-night stay. Checked out other hotels & this is the spot! Enjoy!!

The hotel common areas are absolutely beautiful! The staff is amazingly professional, respectful and considerate! Breakfast was wonderful each morning. They give so much food and it is so fresh and delicious! I had dinner in the rooftop bar which is charming! The food was wonderful and the drinks top notch!

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is friendly and well trained. Normally when I see the words boutique and hotel together, I cringe- but this was very nice. The view from the roof bar is grand and you need to watch moon rise one evening. Some maintenance notes: The Direct TV box is mounted behind the wall mounted TV and will not work with the control. Beauty over function? The rooms do not have air conditioning even though the control indicates they do. Don't even try. There were other issues but nothing big. We would gladly stay here again.

Visiting from Florida USA. We have stayed in many upscale hotels and ITZA is truly special. From the moment you arrive( Front Desk Cecilia and Christian make you feel that you have arrived. The rooms are beautiful; very high ceilings, spectacular bathroom, balcony with well-insulated for sound. The breakfast at Santo Placer is a true delicacy. Great service by Adriana and Valeria. Awesome coffee as well. Upstairs at ZaZa Rooftop we enjoyed a spectacular 360 degrees view as well as great cocktails by Ronald and service by Salome. This hotel in Miami Beach would be $1K per night. The location is close to everything but a block back of the congestion. What a classy experience at ITZA.

The experience starts the moment you get in the lobby of Itza Hotel. Everything is so beautiful! Each piece and object of this hotel has been tastefully curated. When you get to the rooftop your jaw drops! It is simply gorgeous! The service is amazing and the food is awesome! It’s a place to visit over and over.

My wife and I recently visited the UNESCO World Heritage city of Cuenca, Ecuador. We were on a private tour with the hotels selected by the tour company. They outdid themselves in choosing the Itza which is as nice as boutique hotel as we have stayed in for many years. Firstly, its location a block away from Calderon plaza and the cathedral is excellent. This is especially borne out when you go up to the wonderful rooftop bar Zaza and enjoy the views of the cathedral towers and other churches as you make a 360 degree circuit of the city. The restoration of the building has been done meticulously with many fine touches such as the lounge and the small restaurant. Make sure to get a room with a balcony. There are a few rooms with no windows and these should be avoided. The bathrooms are as nice as you'll find in Ecuador. Large, marble and with heated floors. The Itza is one of the few Ecuadorian hotels that has air conditioning and heat. The staff was very helpful and most had decent English skills, something not that common in Ecuador. The wifi was very good compared to most other Ecuadorian hotels we stayed in. A few English channels are available on the TV. Cuenca is a much more prosperous looking city than Quito and a lot safer for tourists. There is a large ex-pat population here that gives it a feel a bit like places such as San Miguel Allende in Mexico. Don't go to Ecuador without visiting Cuenca. The drive from Quito down the Avenue of the Volcanoes is exceptional. Once you get to Cuenca I cannot recommend the Itza enough. The photos will give a better idea of why we loved this place.
