Staff and facilities were great, so friendly and professional. Everything was really clean and nice part from the booking team (owner) who decided to change my booking with no communication or confirmation which ended up causing unnecessary emotions with lack of accountability for her actions and inconsistency in messaging.
For that reason I will not stay there again

I went there with my partner it was amazing, the place is beautiful. the romantic setup though you could do better than that i was disappointed. the staff very professional and helpful. the quiet time is what i needed and Lookout Safari gave me a pleasant weekend. I will definitely come back

I am currently undergoing chemotherapy for bladder cancer and before things get too bad we decided to try 2 nights at this wonderful oasis. We enjoyed it so much we booked 4 nights the following week, which is the trip this review pertains to. That was 21 to 24 October. We are booked again 11 t0 15 November and and again next February. To the reviewers that say there are no animals then you obviously haven't looked !! As you can see I recommend this place most highly and I have been to a number of game lodges near Dinokeng which have cost 2 or 3 times the price and they fade into insignificance compared to Lookout Safari Lodge

Our favorite break away. Peace and tranquility...birdlife is great and many animals. Audrey is excellent and Freddy nothing is to much trouble.

My partner and I had a wonderful weekend, we even planning on coming back to the lookout, the service was perfect, the manager was super welcoming, the rooms were clean, our expectations were exceeded. I would give this place 5 stars over and over again.

The stay was amazing. The rooms were very nice, neat and the big fan helped a lot. The jacuzzi is great. Andrea, the host was absolutely amazing. She was very friendly and eager to make us feel comfortable.

My wife and I, together with our 8month old stayed at Lookout on a recent trip to SA and had a beautiful time. The staff we always on hand if we needed anything, and worked in a professional and discreet manner. The chalets themselves were beautiful, tastefully decorated and really well equipped. Sometimes with self catering facilities kitchen equipment can be frustrating, but here everything was taken care of meaning that we were able to cook and eat and relax. The setting for the lodge is stunning as well, as you would expect on the Dinokeng reserve. Overall a lovely time and will gladly return on future trips to SA.
