Had a one night stay here after driving through the Transfagarsan Highway. Room was 'okay', technically it had a mini fridge but it contained 3 bottles of water that had frozen solid, a price list and nothing else. One of the bedside lamps was broken and several of the sockets didn't work properly. We had a balcony but we couldn't use it as it was a shared balcony with the room next door and the two people in that room were chain smokers who took up the entire balcony space for the entire evening. Our room also had two windows facing directly onto the balcony meaning we had zero privacy due to the neighbours having a direct view into our room. The Aircon was not very good meaning we were stuck in a hot room unable to open the door or window due to the shared space. The bed was uncomfortable. We decided to eat at the hotel which was a poor decision. We had been in Romania for two weeks at this point and all the food had been great, but not here. My husband had beef stroganoff which was stringy and chewy. I had pasta - which tasted suspiciously like a supermarket branded pasta bake. I definitely would not recommend eating here. Breakfast was absolutely appalling. Practically zero choice, none of which looked appealing. We left without eating and visited the bakery at the nearby Lidl instead. Although the hotel is clean and looks pretty from the outside I would not recommend staying here.
