Huascaran Casa Boutique San Blas

CUTE boutique! Beautiful flower tree and many other live plants in the courtyard. Conveniently located near town square. Beautiful walk to Sacsawaman. Some of the beds were not comfortable, but we used pillows to make the best of it. We had eight people in our group, and the majority of us had comfortable beds.

This accommodation is in a great location, within walking distance of many great restaurants, cafés, and other tourist attractions. We initially booked for 2 nights, and due to a change of schedule, we needed to add one extra night. And that's when we discovered they were not as friendly as we thought. Not only did she keep harassing us for cash payment like we were going to run away, but she also asked us to move to a different room, smaller, and darker, for the same price we paid through Orbitz. The breakfast buffet was quite good, located in a very nice bright area in the middle of the building (courtyard). We didn't touch much else on their breakfast buffet, since we're not big on processed foods such as sausages. The first two mornings we were able to order two eggs for each of us, but for the third morning, they refused to give us two eggs without any explanation. The first room was more comfortable, the second room we were moved to the beds weren't as comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but patience is needed for the water pressure, etc. There was a room heater if needed. Despite the great location, we would never go back to this accommodation.

Goodness, we had an amazing experience at Apu Huascaran. The rooms are both spacious and comfortable. The view from the rooftop is incredible. The breakfast each morning are so fresh, delicious, and filling. It is located in a great place for easy walking to many fun places and eateries. The cost for the experience was absolutley fantastic.
