The accommodations were perfect. It really is a boutique hotel and you feel it from the helpful and friendly staff at the front desk, to breakfast service (Carmen I think) and person who cleans the rooms (Roberto I think). The free breakfast is worth mentioning too because it has everything you would want (at least for me) from fruit, coffee, eggs, cheese , bread and eggs. Because it’s Peru, everything is fresh. (Not your typical processed foods you get in the US as much as I love our country.) Lastly, the location is close to everything. This hotel really has it all. We will be back.

Amazing Hotel! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They have the most amazing breakfast (fresh fruit, eggs, bread and jam, cheese and ham, yoghurt and granola). The beds were the most comfortable of our trip and they stored our bags while we went on the Inca Trail. Great location near the main plaza. Can’t recommend highly enough.

A sweet homey place where the staff are warm, friendly, and super-helpful. The rooms are simple and clean, the breakfast is very good and freshly prepared. It is easy and close to walk to many shops and restaurants. Will return when I come back to Peru!

Amazing stay at a boutique hotel run by a warm, welcoming family. Close enough to the historical district whilst still being nice and quiet. We loved our room, the reception organised clothes washing without any issues and even catered for our gluten free intolerances! From Pete & Laura (Australia) 😀

It's a family-owned business run by a wonderful family. The owner greeted us with a bright smile and genuine warmth. She was very helpful, suggesting good restaurants, a SIM card shop, and banks. She also recommended an excellent travel agency. The hotel is very close to the center, making it easy to walk everywhere. The room is spacious and clean, with coca tea bags provided. The breakfast is delicious. Highly recommend to everyone.

Liked · Very good location, on a busy street but just a short walk into the main square, various restaurants and shops. Very helpful staff, giving us maps and lots of advice for around the area. Lovely touch of a complimentary Coca tea on arrival. Big comfy beds and clean rooms. Breakfast was a delight, fresh fruit, eggs, ham, cheese, tea or coffee. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room but a communal set up was just outside in the corridor. Would def return to this hotel in the future. Disliked · Soundproofing not brilliant but most people were in bed quite early!

The service is excellent. They really let you feel at home. The rooms are excellent, clean and beautifully decorated. Specious bed. Delicious breakfast. The kindness of the people serving in this hotel really gives you a very welcome feeling.

We loved our stay with Casa Matara Boutique. The staff made us feel welcome, the room and facilities were clean and beautifully decorated, and it was the best breakfast we had in Peru! If we are ever in Cusco again we will book to stay here.

Great location, near de Plaza. Breakfast was very good, and when we had early day trips they prepared a luchbox for us. The staff was amazing and everything exceeded my expectations. The bed was huge and very comfortable . They helped us with taxi, booking our day trips and everything went smoothly. Our bags stayed at the hotel when we left for a couple of days and we did not have any problems, in fact we were surprised to arrive late and find our bags already in the room!
