Kokoa Hotel Cusco

We switched to this hotel for 2 nights after returning to Cusco from Machu Picchu (MP). The location was about a 5-minute walk from Plaza Mayor. The service here was outstanding. We were able to leave our luggage 2 days before checking in while we were away in MP, and we received great dinner recommendations from the front desk. Breakfast was simple (eggs could be ordered on demand) but only started at 7 am. The hotel provided a simple to-go breakfast for our 5 am tour. The room had a Greek Island style with blue accents and was very chic and modern. However, the walls were very thin, and I was woken up at 3 am because a few people were congregating in the lobby (our room was one floor up). Bring earplugs!

I really loved my stay here! I stayed with my family of 4 we booked two rooms on the 2nd floor a matrimonial superior and double superior. Everything was so clean, and modern you can request a heater in the room if you need it. There is also hot water in each room which worked perfectly, the beds were so comfortable and the sheets smelled like clean linen. In quality this hotel gets a 10/10. Breakfast was very delicious the options are small but enough. The service is very attentive there is always a nice lady asking in the morning how you would like your eggs cooked. I would only recommend having the option of giving 2 eggs instead of just one egg per person. Other than that everything else was amazing. The front desk service was amazing. Edwin and the nice blonde lady were so kind to us. They adviced us where to go and eat and were always attentive 24hours. I would surely come here again! My first experience in Cusco and surely not my last! Also it is only a 10 minute walk to the main square Plaza de Armas. Its very central but not loud at all. There are restaurants, bars, drug stores and even tiny supermarkets near by. The Location is perfect.

I stayed at Kokoa for 2 nights and fell in love with this place. Very cute and charming, excellent location ( 4 blocks away from the Plaza de Armas). Staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall great experience !

This place really punches above the price. Large rooms, modern/renovated, and all within a few minutes walk of the plaza. The breakfast is simple. The rooms are nice, though very little lighting- which should be easy to fix. It's very close to the main clubs, maybe a minute walk. We didn't hear any noise but I am sure it's possible you might depending on your room location. If I were to go to Cusco again I would stay a bit up on the hill east of the plaza. I just found the area a bit nicer/trendier and it's still relatively close to tourist sites. Though if you want to be very close to the plaza this place is great.

Es un hotel pequeño, justo lo que buscábamos para que la experiencia fuera más real. Se han portado estupendamente con nosotros. Guardando nuestras maletas mientras estábamos en Machu Pichu, preparando los desayunos, dejándonos estar en la recepción hasta el Check in, aportándonos un calefactor, dándonos información sobre muchísimas cosas… es verdad que la cama es un poco pequeña, en especial para las habitaciones superiores (hay espacio para poner una cama más grande). Además, en la esquina de abajo hay muchos pubs, pero la calle siempre está vigilada por policía y el ruido no llega a más habitaciones. El desayuno está muy bien, muy completo, pero teniendo excursiones es complicado disfrutarlo ya que te recogen temprano. Tienen infusiones en todas las plantas.
