Hotell i Jung-gu, Taegu

Location was good, downstairs is the shopping street. Very convenient. Room size is ok for 2 of us. Breakfast’s variety is not bad too

While it is a budget hostel, and the location is a bit of a walk inside the back street, I did not expect it to be too luxury or anything special. What was strange was that eventhough I arrived before 10PM, there was nobody at the reception desk, and I had to call to be able to speak with someone for check in and being directed to a self check in machine. With my broken korean language skill, it was difficult but I made it at the end. The room has some black moulds and I had to plug off the mini fridge to be able to use the power point to charge my phone, mini fan and whatever else. And in the morning that mini fridge has produced some water on the floor after being thawed. Towels were provided but they were smelly. The bottom of the toilet were not sealed properly to the floor (the sillicone joint has worn off). The room is in need of renovation. I managed to do the self check out when I went downstairs the next morning (with the same machine). Then I realised I couldn’t get out via the entrance door that I got in the night before, because it was locked at around 11AM. After I rang the owner again, he directed me to leave by the back door. Then I was trying to find my way at the back area to go out to the street and catch a taxi. This hostel by far was the worst place I have stayed ever. I was glad I only booked for 1 night.

The location was excellent, easy access to anywhere. Free hotel parking (remember to get a chop from the front desk). The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was simple but good. However, only one bath towel is provided for 2 persons and we have to ask the front desk to get the second towel everyday. The two daytime front desk ladies were very nice but the one at night was not so friendly when we told her that the toilet is clogged. She gave a dirty look and spoke in Korean with another staff which I could understand a little of her complaints.

The hotel's cleanliness and location are good. But there are no facilities in the room. Even not the proper tea and coffee. The room included a toothbrush and paste but the hotel authorities said it was paid service which was quite surprising for me.

No beating around the bush but this is definitely a love hotel so it’s not the best place for a family. The room is nice and big and has a bit of an antique feel but it was fairly dusty. We also found the bed to be quite hard. The room includes all the amenities you need and the hotel is also in a convenient location with it being basically right in front of Daegu station. Overall, it’s decent hotel if you need something quick and easy but there are better options available in the city.

This hotel is close to everything, such as bus station and metro line. Also it is placed just in the middle of shopping centers. The hotel room was spacious and had all the necessary amenties. Although I stayed in many hotels of similar prices in Korea, this one was the cleanest. The room service was really good. If I have a chance to visit Daegu, I'll definitely book again here.

Hotellets läge är bra och det finns massor av mat och butiker runt om i området.Kräv definitivt personalen för (livsmedel) rekommendation(er), eftersom vi hade den bästa matrekommendationen till oss av hotellets personal. Ljudisolationen är också bra, så medan hotellet ligger i en upptagen gata, var det trevligt att kunna sova och vila efter en hel dag av att gå runt och utforska Daegu.

夜中に到着したとき、フロントの窓とカーテンが閉まっており一見スタッフ不在に見えましたが、実際には中でスタッフの方が待機されていて、窓を強くノックすると対応してもらえるようでした。 エアコンのスイッチはテレビのリモコンと兼用で、左下の赤いボタンを押すと作動しました。 部屋ではぐっすり眠れて快適に過ごせたので良かったです！

The breakfast offered a delicious selection of Korean and international dishes, which was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring. The dining area was cozy and well-maintained. Hotel Noblestay offers fantastic value for its central location, exceptional service, and comfortable accommodations. Whether you’re visiting Seoul for leisure or business, I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay!
