27 on Park Boutique Hotel & Venue

This place has only 4 parking spots for 14 units. We were told to park in the public lot across the street, which clearly states 3 hr parking. We were told if we got a ticket to "let them know." The lot was full, and we had to circle for an hour, hoping a spot would open up. In addition, you are not allowed to check in until 4pm, so we basically had to loiter until 4 pm, then haul our bags 100 yards to the hotel. They allow bag drop off in front, but this means that you will lose your parking spot- if you were lucky enough to find one in the first place. Once I was finally in my room, I tried to rest, but it's super loud & noisy in here. The walls are so thin that you can hear EVERYTHING, including doors slamming people talking like they are right next to you. This is not a restful environment at all. After my shower, I noticed there were no towels, only a single bath mat. If that wasn't enough, I went to leave my room, and the doorknob would not latch as it's not aligned with the striker plate. I had to force it shut while I engaged the dead bolt. There is no excuse for this, it is is a five- minute fix tops. I've got two more nights of this crap. I really wish that we had stayed elsewhere. Waste of money

Clean, convenient, and safe. A little gem on the square in Dahlonega. Lauren in the office is a sweetheart to work with. Planning to come back for Gold Rush to spend time with our sons in college and exploring the festival.

We stayed in Room 6, the Madison with two beds and a separate living room/wet bar. We had plenty of space for our family of three. You absolutely cannot beat the location. We walked to the square for meals and entertainment. We'd love to return.
