This was literally a hidden gem on the bank of river Phalguni... We just stumbled upon while we were trying to make suitable arrangements for my parents 50th Anniversary. Our search seemed to be a tedious task specially considering our specific requirements of traditional food, open air/ close to nature venue, reasonable in terms of budget and finally that would cater to the needs of a diverse crowd of ours. To our pleasant surprise... Once we got in touch with the resort management through a friend who incidentally had stayed in this resort earlier, we could say our search got concluded. Moreover all our apprehension vanished thanks to the efficiency and care of the front desk and specially due to personal involvement of the manager in charge Sajida Helen. Many thanks to all. The venue is best suited for any such functions and it is worth the spend for a mixed group. Each one would have something of interests and it is designed to cater to all age group. Staff are super friendly and helpful. If you want to spend a memorable time with your loved ones, this is the place. Many thanks to the chef who had displayed a buffet of wide range of tasty and traditional food yet with modern approach. Overall our happy faces by evening was the proof that this place deserved a 5 star ⭐ rating and without any exaggeration is a perfect venue to stay or party or get together that could fully be recommend.

The resort is not that great for the price. The bf options were too less. The bedroom linens and towels were not good

Place is good with all required amenities for a resort. Gurupur river in backdrop is soothing.
Food lets the resort down. Not good at all. They must work on the food to make it a good holiday destination.

Our stay was quite pleasant.
We stayed for two days, made good use of the games facilities like table tennis, basketball, fussball and darts.
The resort is very well maintained, the passion of the owner and staff is evident.
All staff are polite, soft-spoken, courteous and helpful.
The added bonus is the fowl family of birds and the goats, they are a treat for the eyes and ears.

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at River Roost Resorts in Mangalore, and it was such a memorable experience! The property is absolutely stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and nestled right by the serene Gurupura River. It felt like stepping into a peaceful oasis, perfect for relaxing and reconnecting. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. We only had one meal during our stay, but it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and prepared with so much care. Dining by the river was the perfect touch, making the experience even more special. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with plenty of space to explore and unwind. From the inviting pool to the quiet charm of the natural surroundings, every moment felt like a retreat from the everyday. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with great hospitality and gorgeous scenery, River Roost Resorts is an excellent choice. We loved every bit of our stay and can’t wait to return!

"i recently had the pleasure of staying at river roost resort for 2 days, and it was a wonderful experience! the resort exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the manager and the staff were friendly and helpful. The resort's surroundings were serene and peaceful, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Overall, i would highly recommend river roost resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I look forward to visiting again soon.
