Tibetian style room so more of a rustic vibe. Overall very homely, staff treats you like family. Always greeted when I return, asked if I neede anything like bottled water or tissue.
Its not the modern type of vibe but for 3 days with trustworthy amenities and friendly staff, this place is great.
Distance wise a short alley walk away to Dali ancient city south gate (2 minutes)

Great location within the ancient city of Dali. The owner was very receptive to any requests we had, and if you want to explore the surrounding area, he can arrange for scooter rentals.
Won't hesitate to come back again on the next trip.

The owner was very nice and available, the room we booked was just as in the pictures, very cute and clean. The position is strategic, at 5 minutes walking from the old town. When we left the owner even gifted us some rose cakes 😊definetely recommended for its price!

I love the guesthouse so much. Walking distance to ancient city southgate around 200m. Quiet area but feels safe. There are few halal restaurants nearby. You can walk to Ancient city anytime because it’s so close. The owner also very nice you can ask him anything and he will gladly help you. We request more water bottles hahaha also there is cute baby who greet us everyday 😂 so my fellow Malaysians please book here, you will never regret.

Charming, traditional style hotel with spacious rooms. It’s very close to the entrance of the old town. The family holding the hotel is very nice and helped us to do our laundry.

It is exactly looks like the picture they posted on trip.com. the room is spacious enough for 3 of us. The toilet is also spacious enough. It is located near the ancient town. The hotel owner/manager is so communicative and kind and really helpful in helping us finding the location. The owner was also very accomodative because we have an urgency that we need to leave earlier and go back to our town. The room is clean, the ambience is nice, overall it was a nice stay.

It is very near to the old town. Easy to find halal food and souvenir. It is true when people say to buy souvenir at Dali instead of other places because it is wayyyy cheaper. Kinda hard to locate the hotel but you can use Baidu Maps. Also, easy to rent scooter because the host has it. The host helped us to book for taxi because Didi did not accept our request for our ride to train station

First time to Dali as a Australian traveller and first time to China. Staying here was amazing; not only was the family so friendly and helpful, but They went out of their way many times to help me in my journey through the city, giving me directions, personal contacts and more supplies for all my travel needs.
Special thanks to Tutti for all her amazing work.
5 star service and 5 star hotel with the best garden and cute cat.

I will rate this hotel 5 star as location is just walking distance to South Gate of ancient city and so many eateries surrounding. The cleanliness of room and service is superb 👍👍 . This hotel is run by a family and also owner and they will help to arrange transportation and help rent a motorbike and explain how to travel and round the whole Er Hai (Lake) Will strongly recommend this hotel to everyone will travel Dali.
