Wan He Yong Hao Lake View Hotel

Though we paid for breakfast, we were told no breakfast was served during check-in, so the breakfast fee was refunded. The hotel is not close to any cafe or restaurant; the closest one may be around 10 min walking distance. The shower and toilet are separated, and they are all in clear glass (photo attached). If you come as a couple, maybe it's ok to have this setting. But still, a bit of privacy with a tinted glass is not too much to ask; it's embarrassing and inconvenient to share a room like this with a friend. My friend in the other room has a clogged toilet, she had to switch to a new room. The ceiling of the shower seems to have mold. It seems that maintenance or cleaning are lacking. An ashtray can be found in a non-smoking room; it seems contradicting.

This is the highest price of hostel I choose for this trip with bath tub and a pool in front of room. Unfortunately, the bath tub is not really clean. Water come out with some tiny leaves? The pool shown in image is actually not pool, just a decoration for photo shooting , the water inside is dirty. Plus; there is no laundry service and no free TV programme to watch. The air cond is centralised one. If you feel hot, you cannot lower down the temp. If you feel cold, you also cannot increase the temp, this is the most suffering. This makes me turn off the air cond the whole night the centralised air cond is blowing hot air at 28 degree. And I not dare to open the balcony window for security. This is the first time I give bad review.

Hotel is clean, friendly and helpful service staff. Except the breakfast is very simple.

Wonderful location with beautiful views especially in the morning across the lake. Hotel staff was very helpful, be vary of road conditions, it may be necessary to ask hotel to pickup if carrying luggage when road is closed for outside traffic.

Free upgrade. Friendly staff. Fantastic location.
