Dali Old City Shiyuanju · Bai Local Culture Experience Store Holiday Villa (Nanmen Store)

Very convenient. The place is super clean and the staff are very accommodating. We are a family of seven (one 7 months old baby), and we all find it very nice. It's near old Town which is wonderful since most of our itinerary is around the old town. Would highly recommend!

We booked Dali Old City Shiyuanju - Bai Local Culture Holiday for the our holiday in Dali. Shi Yuan Jun, the owner of the villa was most welcoming upon our arrival. She asked us about our itinerary in Dali and shared information about places of interest such as Old Town, helped us arrange our tours, booked the tickets for us and gave useful advice such as taking a bus instead of the bullet train.  Service in the villa was also good. The bottom of the washbasin leaked and we informed her about it on the way out. The problem was fixed upon our return.  We left Dali for Lijiang after three days. An hour into our bus journey, I received a message from owner informing that I had left my hat behind. I was thinking about possible ways to get my hat such as having a courier send it to me in Lijiang, which would incur additional cost.  Another way would be to ask owner to bring the hat to the bus depot and ask the driver making the next trip to Lijiang to bring the hat.  I was a little hesitant to do this as it would mean troubling owner to make a trip to the bus depot. To my surprise she agreed readily and made arrangements with the bus driver within half an hour. To cut the story short, I got my hat back that same night. Needless to say I was most impressed that she went out of her way to help although I had left the hotel. If you travel to Dali, please do consider Hotel. You will definitely enjoy wonderful service there.

Excellent value for money, good location, clean and spacious. The hosts helped me with finding restaurants and things to do. They even gave me some Dali rose pastries as a parting gift 🥺

Travelling as a family of 4 with teens. Room was comfortable. Location was very near to Nanmen of Dali ancient town and near food (halal options available) there was bo bath mat provided but staff was friendly and helpful.

Service is very good from mother and son who run the hotel. Location is great, near to ancient city and good restaurants. The panoramic room is very comfortable , the bed and quilt are good quality. The blues chairs are comfortable to sit on to admire the beautiful view of Cangshan from picture window. Highly recommended.
