Dali She Yu Inn

The people here are very helpful and there is great service here! When we could not order take-out (*******), they helped us and even recommended food :) They are also very hospitable, introducing us on how to make tea and providing free tea for us to sample. There is also free laundry (washing machine + dryer in the room) so it is great for backpackers or those who are travelling for long. One suggestion would be to add lights at the laundry room as it could be very dark at night 😅There is also a very cute dog and many adorable cats here! It does bring a lot of joy to stay here ☺️

This is the best hotel in our long trip to Yunnan. There are so many things I need to praise about this hotel. Fantastic and friendly services! Just stand in front of the hotel, the staffs would help you move your luggages inside. When we was about to check out, they helped us with the luggages too. They recommended where to go and eat, and even helped us rent a car to go around Erhai and visited the ancient towns along the way. The room was clean with a hot water dispenser, clothes dryer and good view to the garden. We were welcomed with fruits and rose biscuits. The garden is extremely beautiful and zen. We could relax and even took a peaceful afternoon nap there. Our child enjoyed playing with the cats and dog. The rooftop has wonderful view of Dali's mountains and Erhai. This is where we love to spend our early morning to admire sunrise. The owner was very friendly, invited us to have tea with him, introduced us about Yunnan, Dali and the specialties and we had a good chat. He even made sure that we had good and full breakfast everyday. Will definitely stay in this hotel again when we return to Dali.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Dali. They have 14 beautiful and very friendly cats, which made the experience even more special. The hotel accepts foreign passports, and the owner speaks English, which made communication and check-in very easy. Highly recommend for cat lovers and international travelers!

The room is clean and tastefully decorated. The garden is pretty. My kids love the many cats and a dog in the hotel. The staff is very attentive to our requests. They moved the luggage for us during check-in and check-out and helped us book a minivan to pick us up from the train station for 1/3 of the cost charged by ctrip. I will recommend not getting the breakfast package as the cost is the same if you get it later. It is an all-you-can-eat ticket from a nearby restaurant. The food is OK but you may not want to have it every morning for multiple days. Overall, highly recommend.
