I cannot recommend Sunyata Homestay in Dali enough! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it was an experience of genuine warmth and care. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a serene escape after long days of exploring. The afternoon tea and breakfast they served were nothing short of extraordinary. I’ve stayed in multiple 4-5 star hotels across China over the past month, but the gourmet food here easily surpassed them all. Every bite was thoughtfully prepared, leaving me in awe of the flavors and quality. The location of Sunyata Homestay is also perfect. It’s just far enough from the bustling crowds to remain peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to Dali Ancient City that it’s only a few steps away from great eateries and the heart of the ancient town. The balance is ideal for anyone seeking convenience without sacrificing tranquility. A special shout-out to the young lady working in the coffee shop up front—her coffee is unparalleled! My husband, who is a daily coffee drinker and rarely impressed, couldn’t stop raving about her brews. It was, hands down, the best coffee we had during our travels. The staff here deserve every bit of praise. They were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. However, what truly sets Sunyata apart is the incredible owner. My father had a bad accident in Dali on a rainy day, and I can honestly say I don’t know what I would have done without his support. Despite my limited Mandarin, he spent an entire day accompanying me to the hospital, ensuring we were well cared for and understood. The next day, he went out of his way to pick up the CT scans for us. His kindness and compassion left me speechless. The owner’s dedication to his guests is reflected in his amazing team, all of whom go above and beyond. Without his help, I would have had to cut my trip to China short. Instead, he turned a difficult situation into one where we felt supported and cared for like family. Sunyata Homestay is truly one of a kind, and I will forever be grateful for their hospitality. This is not just a place to stay; it’s a haven of comfort, care, and culinary delights. Thank you, Sunyata, for everything!

Lovely stylish modern hotel with very helpful staff in a good central location. Nice rooms around an attractive courtyard, and lovely communal areas for tea etc. we enjoyed our stay.

Because we arrived in the morning we were happy to go into our room and prepare the day trip. The afternoon tea with cake and also the breakfast were excellent. The room and the atmosphere are stylish and simple. It was a pleasure to stay at these boutique hotel.

Had a wonderful 3 nights here. The well-designed property offers a calm respite from the buzz of the streets outside. We had a room on the second level that let good sunlight in during the days, allowing us to sit by the huge window for tea. Though the toilet and shower was a little small, the stone bathtub was huge. Room was clean & had all basic amenities one would expect. We loved the Coco-mat pillows. The breakfast was a highlight every morning, offering varied & healthy options. Coffee was good too. They served complimentary night desserts/snacks. They didn’t have many staff but service was good and prompt, always ready to offer tips & advice whenever needed. This included texting them via WeChat anytime you needed something. When the caretaker lady found out that we were heading to the other JiXiaShan properties after Dali, she took the initiative to inform them about our pending arrival & asked that we be accorded good hospitality. She also helped to link up with the Dida driver when we needed to arrange the transport between cities. We didn’t miss Dali Ancient City that much, but we sure miss this wonderful property, and we won’t hesitate to stay here again if we were to pass by this way.

位置很好，就在古城邊，鬧中取靜，晚上完全聽不到吵鬧聲！打車如才村碼頭也是起步價，關鍵，車輛可以直接進入到酒店門口，不用拖着行李箱到處走，下午茶出品很好，更是咖啡自由，無限量供應！伴手禮也是很有特色，值得推薦的民宿

地理位置真的是鬧中取近的一塊凈土，環境優雅，設計感十足，服務人員貼心。唯一的槽點就是衞生間和淋浴間，感覺特別殘舊，整體感覺拉低檔次。並且花灑頭放不穩，一開水龍頭有壓力了就到處轉。由於冬天相對乾燥，房間身體乳液為小瓶，想詢問前台多拿一瓶擦拭身體。但前台員工表示很貴，這樣那樣的説了一通，最後還是給了，這個體驗也有點不舒服，如果不願意給多一衹，建議考慮換大容量一些

酒店設計感很棒 公區拍照很漂亮 房間設計感也很好，房間在二樓管家小哥特別貼心幫我們拎箱子送到房間。交通挺方便的 緊挨着古城步行街，打車去才村、龍龕碼頭大概十幾分鍾也很方便，很棒的旅行體驗

客房服務非常貼心，早餐和睡前飲品都可以送進房間，前台小哥主動幫忙提拉行李，早餐也十分豐盛。再就是地理位置是真的好，出門就是古城，即使是在淡季晚上很熱鬧，推薦這家民宿酒店！

第一次來大理就住了兩晚「既山下」 位置：非常方便，周邊的白天/夜天大不同。步行到大理古城都不遠 環境：古舊有特色，園中一棵樹帶點日本風格。在酒店都拍出美相 食物：早餐絕對豐富，加埋杯咖啡無得頂。因為行程緊密未能嘗到下午茶☺️ 服務：極度體貼，由落車至離開都照顧周到。吃完早餐來多杯咖啡可以直送上房(二樓要行多級樓梯😛） 其他：還有小禮物送給我們 多謝酒店每位同事招呼🫰🏾

位置就在古城裡麪的中間，出行很方便，晚上逛古城特別方便，酒店的設計是我喜歡的風格，就是房間稍小，服務不錯，咖啡不錯，早餐特別的不錯，每天都是開盲盒的早餐，每天晚上小管家微信告訴我們第二天吃的早餐，第二天都感覺特別驚喜，豐富且美味！下次還來！

衝著設計師來的，時隔多年建築風格依舊能打。酒店本身的軟件服務也很好，再加上早餐下午茶還有咖啡的加持，確實蠻不錯的，環境挺安靜，很放空，希望下次來，還是這樣

房間非常簡約乾淨，店長小夥很nice，店員也熱情細心，入住前幫我開了房間取暖，鬧中取靜，客棧的隔音和遮光問題很大程度解決，不錯，後來又在店長推薦下住了沙溪店

服務一級棒  會提前聯繫 前台小姐姐超級漂亮 提前到門口接  早餐很好吃  咖啡都是可以無限續杯  簡直是本咖啡愛好者的天堂了  小院子特別舒服   院子裏那棵樹拍照很好看  工作人員都特別熱情  會推薦本地好吃的飯店  最值得一讚的就是早餐了下午茶了 品類豐富且味道極佳  有機會還會再來住！
