Comprised of four beautifully restored traditional Arabic homes, every corner of this property reflects the owner’s passion and dedication to preserving the beauty and heritage of Damascus. You can tell that an extraordinary amount of time and care went into getting every detail right. The result is a warm, elegant space that feels more like a private palace than a hotel. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the beds extremely comfortable, and the atmosphere throughout the property is nothing short of magical. The staff are kind, attentive, and always ready to help, making you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. The on-site restaurant is open 24 hours, and the food is exceptional. Breakfast is included in the stay and is a generous spread of traditional Syrian dishes served fresh at your table—no stale buffet here. They serve far more than any one person can eat, and everything is made with care and authenticity. The hotel is perfectly located inside the Old City, just a short walk from Bab Touma and Bab Sharqi, and about 15–20 minutes from major landmarks like the Umayyad Mosque, Hamidiya Souk, and the Tomb of Saladin. My stay at Beit Alwali Hotel was incredibly worth the price. The service is fantastic and the food is top-notch. The beds and room size are great. Most importantly, staying at Beit Alwali provides a trip through history; you will experience the authentic Damascene atmosphere and hospitality just like the Damascenes did hundreds of years ago. The location is central to historic Damascus, within walking distance of landmark bazaars that operate just as they did centuries ago, as well as historic sites. The cobblestone streets contribute to the city's magnificence and charm. The owner is dedicated to excellence. He supervises everything by himself. I highly recommend Beit Alwali for those who want to escape the ordinary to a mystical atmosphere of a luxurious and authentic Syrian experience.

One of the nicest experiences and breakfasts we’ve had in old Damascus. Such an authentic shami building with beautiful rooms and greenery everywhere. If you’re visiting Damascus, I highly recommend! The staff is also very hospitable :)

I had an excellent stay at Beit Al Wali Hotel. What made my stay especially well was the amazing and competent staff that went above and beyond to make sure that I feel welcomed. As for the interior it is beautiful and has a very nice and calming atmosphere. Furthermore the breakfast offered is outstanding and very delicious! I highly recommend to anyone coming to Damascus to stay here, you will definitely not regret it!
