To stay in this hotel is very very bad experience. The hotel staff behaviour is very rude. As per images and actual hotel is totally different. Room amenities is not working and after complaining to the hotel staff they are saying please manage.

Picture doesn't match with the actual rooms, 1st we were given a room that was dirty and unorganised, then after complaining, they shifted us to a new room which was okay, wifi was not working, tv had no remote on it, food was decent. I would rate it as 2 out of 5.

The room was extremely different from what was shown in the description and photos. Service was extremely terrible, no response and zero hospitality, room and toilet was not even in proper condition, better to opt some other hotel .

It was terrible, very unhygienic...the rooms were dirty, the bedsheets were stained and the food was bad as well. Even though the manager was a nice but they were too lazy

very poor rooms. hotel rooms are very bad and unhygienic.surrounding was sooooo dirty .please maintain the rooms and well furnish it .change all the hotel management.

The room was good, hygiene maintained but the TV was not operated and amenities were not nearby. You have to go to the market by shared taxis and hotel food quality is not good.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent stay at Retreat Hotel Samden, Darjeeling (Room 401, 03 Mar 2024). The room had no lock, no intercom, TV, or working geyser, and was extremely unhygienic with dirty bedsheets and an unclean bathroom. Safety was compromised due to loose wiring and no latch on the bathroom door. When I raised these concerns, Hotel Manager rudely said, you can’t expect more facilities.” His unprofessional attitude and the misleading hotel listing have left me distressed.
