Datong Ancient City Xinyue Homestay recensioner

Massor av restauranger runt hotellet och närbutik i närheten. Tunnelbanan ligger också några meter bort, vilket gör det lättare att resa. Sängen var mjukare än de flesta sängar vi hade på vår resa, vilket var uppskattat. Städning görs varje dag av personalen. Hotellet är lite som en labyrint, men man vänjer sig. Sexleksak på rummet till salu, vilket är konstigt men hey, det kanske är vanligt på vissa hotell i Kina. Rummet var mycket rent. :)

Hotellreceptionen är svår att hitta eftersom den är i nästa kvarter och inte i själva hotellet. I en spritbutik. De talar inte engelska. Rummet är mycket bra, inkluderar en tvättmaskin, handfat, en soffa... Strax nedanför finns en välsorterad mataffär och mycket vänliga människor.

Vacker, helt ny lägenhet, tyst och ren. Vacker utsikt över staden Väl beläget nära gamla stan. Butik och restaurang i närheten. Tjänst tillgänglig via We chat. Lätt att nå från stationen med buss eller taxi.

Rent hotell, rymligt rum, stor säng, bra läge, inte så långt från turistattraktioner, bekväma resor, rekommenderar att du ringer hotellet innan du frågar om platsen. för bekvämlighets skull

What a great room. The service is great, hostesses are responsive and kind. The room was clean and luminous, and the best was soft, we both slept very well. We enjoyed the table at breakfast and at dinner. We highly recommend you to chose this hotel.

We had a great stay in Datong and the apartment was very nice, quite big and very clean. It was a little bit of a search when getting to the accommodation. Best to reach out beforehand, they are very communicative! The location is fine, close to restaurants, malls, public transport and the walled city. I did not like the disposable towels.. Using a towel once and throwing it out instead of washing it? Seems old fashioned and not sustainable. Overall a good stay and a great view!

The room was very clean and with all amenities needed. The service was very nice and people were super polite. The location is good, it is not in the ancient city but you can easily reach it by bus in 10 minutes or walking about 20-30 minutes. The price/quality ratio was great! Highly recommended!

The location is perfect, right in the city centre, they personnel is also nice. The cons are that the water pressure is really really low, it makes it very hard to take shower.

Nice place, Nice location; you can walk to the Ancient town, I took along time to catch nice scene along the city wall, park and canal. To get the hotel from Datong South Railway Station by bus no.31 from the bus station side(the area is connected), take around 30 minutes to get there (Yungang Jianguo hotel, the hotel is opposite, only 2 CNY, many food and minimart around there. There is Muslim food there if need(next to the entrance of C(behind the building). Nice service, self check-in, clean room and relaxing. the owner, you should to contact the owner before arrive, she so friendly and always help you, she suggested us about the famous local food and restaurants(Thank you so much). If you need to buy some necessary item and cannot buy at the around minimart, you can walk to the Yonghui Superstore by East side (the next junction) turn right to Yuhe West rd. (At the corner). From the hotel tobget Yungang Grottoes, you can take bus no. 31 (Yungang Jianguo side), get off at Shi Li Dian Cun Xi ( West Shilidian village), cross to another side and catch bus no.12 to the terminal stop(is Yungang Grottoes. Take 1 hour or 1.30 to get there.

They don't have a conditioner 😭 I'd recommend you bring your skincare and your daily things

Located outside of the city, convenient if a tour picks you up there. Very nice, clean, comfortable and modern room, especially for the price, with a great view of the city. The check-in location is hard to find but the lady at the reception was helpful.

This was a great place to stay for our 3 nights in Datong. It's like condo rooms in a high rise. We had a huge room, all very clean and new. There was a view towards the light show at Datong city walls. The host was very friendly, she taught me how to get the bus to the Yungang Grottoes. Cross the main road outside and take bus no.17 to the end of the line at a station. From there bus no 3 will take you to the entrance of Yungang Grottoes, it is easy and super cheap. There was no English spoken here, but the translation app covers that problem. Great value for money, we highly recommend this place.
