Owner lady is very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient place in old city. I want to come to Datong to stay this house.

Great location, and the staff are very friendly and professional. Even though they can't speak English, but they did their best to help us. The room is super clean, and there are some exotic animals ( Peacocks) that stay in the living area. They are so beautiful and very friendly.

Lovely place and personal. Beautiful architecture. Fresh fruit as a welcome gift is really appreciated. Perfect location, close to all tourists attractions. You can request didi in front of the hotel. Pity we stay so short time. Datong is beautiful and it worth staying more than one day. Highly recommended

No words to describe the awesome and wonderful people from Renyi Inn. We arrived a bit too early and they checked us in directly, no questions asked. They brought us cherry tomatoes and oranges as snacks. They even offered us a free upgrade to a bigger unused room, however we were outside most of out trip and declined. But their hospitality goes beyond limits. Hands down one of the nicest inn I ever been too. And they have 2 lovely pet 🦚 peacocks, how awesome is that. Location is in Ancient town, close to everything, and the view is lovely

The hotel was amazing. Perfect position for visiting Datong old city, very near to all tourist attractions. The busses for the Hanging Temple and the Yungang Grottoes are right beside the hotel entrance. The room was very spacious and adequately clean. The staff does not speak English but they do their best to help. Price is very low for the service. Highly recommended

Amazing location with a fantastic view! The atrium is a hidden treasure with the delightful animal friends in it.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable.

This is a gem in Datong. Really pretty place located in the old town just next to HuaYan temple. Short walk to the temple entrance. The owners are very lovely people, giving us a free upgrade on one of our bookings (3 children) so that they can have their own beds even though I offered to pay extra. The triple room is great size with a balcony! The double room is smaller, and both rooms even have high-tech toilets with remote control for bidet functions. They provide disposable items in the rooms as well if you prefer. What i love modt is the common area. There are birds and fish in the common area, which is a delight to the children. Xiaohui, the macaw will mimick some words of ours when we are not in sight! I have also developed "my spot" on the rocking chair in the common area, just enjoying the tranquillity of the place. Really lovely and highly recommended accommodation in Datong!!

I highly recommend Renyi Inn because of its location and friendly owners! Its located within the ancient city walls, just opposite Huayan Monastery. You can also climb up the city wall nearby. If you walk out via the gate there is KFC & a shopping mall just across the road. If you take Didi from Datong South train station, it takes only about 20mins to get to the inn. Other attractions like drum tower, nine dragon wall are within walking distance. We received help from the owners to book a great driver for the day to bring us to Yungang Grottoes & Xuankong temple. Owners also recommended a really nice restaurant nearby known for their local dao xiao mian. There’s also a nice local bakery & convenience stall just a few steps away from the inn. Room was comfortable and spacious. Overall, we wished we had more time in Datong as we had a really good experience!

The hotel located in the ancient city of Datong right in front of the Huayan Monastery is wonderful. Spotlessly clean, furnished with style and elegance. The owners are very kind. Fresh fruit every day and ready to fulfill our wishes and requests.The beds are very comfortable and the linen is of excellent quality. Bathroom toiletries are provided. If you visit Datong you absolutely must not miss it! Absolutely recommended!

The room is clean and spacious. The hostess gave us fresh fruits. The place is quiet in the day and night. Hotel is located opposite Huayan Temple and convenienfly walking distances to Drum / Bell tower and city walls. It’s also walking distance to 2 famous FenglinGe restaurant and Xijin Road Noodle Restaurant (喜晋道•面馆) and Fenglinge (凤临阁) - definitely must try for gourmet wannabes.
