The two train stations of Davos, Davos Dorf and Davos Platz, are two ends of the main road, Promenade and Talstrasse. Davos Platz is the one we used to get around Graubunden. Hotel Meierhof is closer to Davos Dorf but there is a bus stand almost next to it and the hotel gave us free bus vouchers so it was easy to get around. The hotel is cosy and owned by a previous F1 race driver. They have two restaurants, though one was closed due to the low season. Pluses: The lady at the reception was super friendly, super helpful There was free parking although not sure during high season. They have a lovely (but not large) swimming pool, sauna and steam at no extra. They provide all the towels, slippers, bathrobes so it's very convenient. The breakfast was adequate, you can ask for eggs to order. They did remember the gluten free bread on the first two days but forgot on the day of the check out. The 'accessible' rooms were nicer, with a balcony, walk in shower. They have ski storage areas, games room with board games, table football, which we used. Negative: No kettle in the room, no tea/coffee sachets, no drinks/food in the minibar. After a 3 hr drive, we really needed a cuppa. We later realised that it wasn't mentioned in the info online, so our bad. But we kind of take it for granted these days. If you have a room facing the road, even on the 4th floor, beware the street noise. And this during low season. OVERALL: A good stay for 2 nights.
