Royal Davui Island Resort - Adults Only

首先我要感謝攜程的服務，非常好！非常人性化！所有的客服人員的服務態度都值得稱讚！ 服務：酒店會提前和客人郵件溝通，這個服務做到了。 但是這個酒店是我所有旅行中最差的體驗！ 首先，酒店不提供免費登島！最便宜的登島方式，坐3小時汽車到另一個港口乘坐快艇，270斐濟幣/人/單程。兩個人來回主島需要￥3500。這個價格要額外付款的！由於行程臨近而是行程時間內沒有其他更好的選擇，衹能無奈接受，而是還是更貴的方式。 另外通過官網可以看到住四晚免費登島的政策通過攜程預訂無論幾晚都無法免費登島（攜程酒店管家反饋） 然後就是讓人無語的行程了。我們需要在香港轉機，當我落地香港接到酒店電話，有熱帶氣旋接近斐濟，於是酒店決定不接待客人登島，還不提供主島的任何住宿幫助，何時能夠登島不確定！！我麪臨著落地斐濟沒有地方住而是還有颱風來襲的窘迫。最後在香港無奈決定返程。酒店衹給了一個保函文件讓我找旅行保險去挽回損失。他們沒有提供任何服務收了住宿費用和登島費用卻拒絕退款！！！這就是**酒店的可笑的邏輯！！！

A magical place that delivers not only top quality rooms, amenities, and atmosphere, but also the greatest people we've ever met. The resort is truly 5 star, in every aspect. Everything is curated for you and it takes little to no work on your part. Just show up and enjoy yourself. The greatest part about Royal Davui is the staff. They are truly amazing people who care, beyond what a traditional staff would, or should. We left there with true friendships amd memories we will treasure for a lifetime, or at least until we return again. If you're looking for a trip to Fiji, or the south pacific, do NOT pass this place up.

We spent our honeymoon at Royal Davui, and it’s a beautiful resort. The reef is stunning, the villas are spacious and spotless, and the staff are some of the warmest, kindest people we’ve met while travelling. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable (and to patch up my husband, who kept injuring himself). Mela made our sunset cruises a highlight, and the pool, water sports, spa treatments, cocktails, and food were all solid. We appreciated how often they brought our dinner as room service and it was nice they let me borrow a yoga mat for the room. But. It felt like everyone else knew about the Costco package but us, which is an incredible deal, and also a bit frustrating when you’ve paid approximately $14,000 USD for a direct booking (not including flights, which Costco does include). If you do the Costco package, you’re getting amazing value for your money. If you don't, you may find yourself comparing notes and wondering if it's actually worth it. The main disappointment was the sand cay picnic. The website and reviews made it sound private, but no one mentioned it’s actually a public spot. So we were surprised when not one but two other boats pulled up during our picnic, bringing at least 15 extra people. We were left feeling awkward and... underdressed. It could’ve been avoided with one simple heads-up. While the resort did offer to rebook another picnic and eventually comped the excursion (not the drinks, though), it was handled in an odd way. They insisted that the sand bar is public and that they make sure not to advertise it as private. Sure — but they're also careful not to advertise it's public, everything implies it’s private, and many reviews describe it that way without being corrected. I didn’t come on my honeymoon to debate the semantics of marketing copy lol. I won’t list them all, but there were other small oversights that added up and aren’t expected at this price point: wrong coffee grounds in the room (and no replacement until the last day, so no in-room coffee most of the week); no one answered reception when we called early to ask about rescheduling the cay trip due to bad weather, which had been scheduled for 7:30am; and unclear or missing info on the village visit schedule, vegetarian menu, and the docile-but-still-venomous sea snake situation (there were too many for my comfort). Overall, it's a beautiful resort with a warm staff. It’s the kind of place where you’ll still have a good time because the people are so lovely, but you might walk away wondering if you got what you paid for. We had a great honeymoon, but I don't recommend booking directly.

We spent four heavenly days at Royal Davui. We loved every minute of it. We arrived by small plane/boat. The transfers went seamlessly. We were greeted on arrival by the owners, Grant and Chris and the manager Vincent as well as the staff singing a welcome chorus. We were blown away. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere with a manager who was so friendly and efficient - Vincent is the best. The location is stunning, and all the staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Special shout outs to Vito, David and Ben behind the bar, Iwa, Sitiri, Luque on the guitar, and La. Everyone we encounters was so nice! We loved the Kava ceremony - it was such a lovely way to introduce us to Fijian customs and traditions. The resort is gorgeous, the rooms, spacious and well appointed. I loved how there is a separate bedroom and living area, as my husband and I get up at different hours. We appreciated the filtered water in the rooms. When I booked, I had a hard time deciding what kind of room to stay. We stayed in an Island Plunge Pool Bungalow which, while had a gorgeous view (sunrise), was SUPER windy and we couldn’t really sit outside because of the wind. Next time, I’d choose a villa on the opposite side, where the office/restaurant is because it is more protected and not as windy. Snorkeling is AMAZING. We did both the outer reef snorkel and the guided house snorkel - literally some of the best snorkel in the world, right outside the resort - Josh and Ben were great snorkeling guides. The food was maybe the weakest part of the resort but you don’t go for the food. Our goodbye was even more amazing than our arrival with a Fijian chorus that left us with tears in our eyes. We will be back!

What an absolutely phenomenal trip. Royal Davui Island Resort made this a fairytale vacation. We made so many memories here that we will remember for the rest of our lives. A picnic on a sand cay in the middle of an ocean, surrounded by mother nature and — hilariously — curious crabs. A sunset cruise where we all enjoyed ourselves so much and we both had deep thoughts about the state of the world and also detached from the world in the way you most hope to on a vacation. Hours upon hours at the pool, reading, writing, and thinking while sipping smoothies and cocktails like some movie. It really was a dream. The staff were absolutely next level: Lydia, David, Meme (both of them!), Ben, Sitari, Jacki, Mesui, Bill, Paul, Mela, La, Dee, and so many more. Things like helping with sea sickness, stocking us up on cookies, giving me a weighted blanket during a head facial, chatting about the flora and fauna, laughing and smiling through kava rounds, and just so much joy shared throughout. Also, they are all highly talented singers. I told Mesui that I could listen to him all day. Chill music while I worked. He is seriously talented. Really though, so many of them are. And the chefs! Wow. They are an incredible group. Royal Davui Island is a special place with very special people. It was an honor to spend a week there.

Bula, My wife and I stayed in at Royal Davui for 7 nights for our honeymoon in the Sunset Villa and it was absolute bliss. Service: The people are extremely friendly and courteous. They call you by name and they made us feel like VIPs the whole time we were there. One of our favorite parts is you can have all your food and drinks delivered to your Villa and we took advantage of that. If something was forgotten when they delivered, they fixed it immediately. They are all so wonderful, but a big shoutout to David and Vincent and bigger shoutout to Paul! We miss you all already which tells you how great the service is. Villa: We specifically stayed in Sunset Villa 5 which was our main reason we picked this resort and it exceeded our expectations. The views are unbelievable, the plunge pool was perfect for the hot days, the multiple seating areas were perfect, the outdoor shower was refreshing, the bath was relaxing, and the roof that opens inside was a cool tough. My wife and I really didn't leave the Villa for the first 2 days because of how nice it was and how private they are. You won't see or hear your neighbors. Also our villa had some fun animals stop by, like hermit crabs, regular crabs, birds, and a few fruit bats in the distance. There's air condition in bedroom and bathroom and all the doors/windows open so make the Villa an outdoor/indoor space. Food: The food is delicious and fun. You pick your meals at the beginning of the day, with lunch and dinner being 3 courses and different each day. Breakfast has multiple options and you get to pick a few each morning. The presentation of each dish is always exquisite. If you're a picky eater, you may not like everything, but they do give multiple options. If you love food, you'll have no problem with the menu. Activities: The free activities we did were snorkeling around the island, which was amazing! There are so many fish, star fish, a giant clam, coral, and a shark that we saw and swam with. We did some kayaking, paddle boards, and went on the hobie cat! They have crab races on some evenings which are really fun, the coconut class and cooking class were great and we learned so much about the culture. The Kava Ceremony was super unique and fun. That is very big in the Fiji culture which we're glad we experiences. Paid Activities: We did a few massages which were wonderful. We went the town visit on Beqa island and loved meeting the students and the locals there. We also did the Bega island snorkeling which was amazing. Our guides on both trips were wonderful and brought us to see one the giant clams (the size of a beach ball) which are endangered. I highly recommend that trip. But by far the best part and you need to do is the Sand Cay Picnic. Unbelievable! They take you out to this small sand island and set up a picnic area with chairs, umbrellas, food and drinks and leave you out there for 3 hours. Make sure to bring your snorkeling gear because the water there is better than the p
