Hyatt Place Daytona Beach Oceanfront

Don't stay here the pool has been under construction since NOVEMBER 2022. THERE IS NO BEACH ACCESS. Very average stay overall.

Perfect hotel. Not expensive and amazing time. Breakfast was amazing and the room was very clean. One down fall… no seats on balcony. The view was amazing and the gentleman who checked me in was new but he went above and beyond. Will 100% come back

Staff was extremely rude and on the phone during the entire check in and check out. Had AirPods on while talking to me. There was hair all in the bathroom floor, the hot water did not work, and the AC barely worked in the room. Elevator smelled like ****. Find anywhere else to stay, this place is disgusting.

Room smelled horrible, the towel holder was completely rusted and falling off the wall, the pool outside was disgusting and full of nasty brown/green water. I do not at all recommend staying here. Save your money and go to a nicer hotel.

We booked this hotel almost a year ago. They emailed me after the booking was confirmed explaining that the pool had been damaged by the hurricane in 2022 . They assured me that it would be repaired by spring this year. We arrived to find that the pool hadn’t even been started!! There was nobody staying at the hotel and the operative on site said that we could cancel but *********** would still charge us $125 cancellation fee ! A downright liberty. I then had to find an alternative hotel which cost me an extra £235 for the week. Totally disgusting.

Great location. The pool, jacuzzi and beachfront access is closed due to hurricane damage from 2 years ago. Which is not really reflected in the price. Our room was nice clean and spacious. The room did have have a musty smell.

Stayed at the Hyatt Place in August. Very Comfy Beds, nice room, plenty of hot water, carpet did not feel fresh is only negative. Front desk workers did advise me of lack of pool and lack of direct beach access when I called to confirm reservation. But they were super nice throughout my stay and made excellent restaurant recommendations (Aunt Catfish for Sunday Brunch and The Crab Stop II, both for locally owned restaurants excellent seafood and reasonable prices! Wish Hyatt would offer some incentive to returning guests to come back after Hurricane damage from 2 years ago...

I feel you have a nice property if it was made aware to guest that is under construction, and that your kitchen staff realize that when you have a full house, you need to make a lot more food and not argue with the guest and say that the kitchen is closed it was 9:45 AM my guest were upset of my decision to go to Hyatt because of the price, but I said the experience would be great and I personally was let down

Reservation gave no info the pool and ocean access were closed. Too late to leave and find another room
