Zone Connect by the Park Saket New Delhi

I am very disappointed with my stay at Zone Connect in Saket. It seems that they had an issue with our extended stay since they so conveniently threw me and my mother out one of the afternoons in March. We had just got back from the hospital, I was told to check out as the hotel is full even though we were still in the room and not checked out. I think they were under the assumption that we did not have the money to pay or we were not going to pay. I let the manager know that he should be ashamed of himself for treating us that way. Checking someone else in the room we were still staying in. My mother and I left the room within 30 minutes. We made other arrangements and we can guarantee anyone reading this that there is no chance of our return. The phone never worked in the room, the exhaust fan never worked in the room, the fridge never worked in the room. We had to remind them during our stay so many times to fix and ask for things. The only thing they were interested in is getting a good review and earning tips. Guess what friends, even tipping has its limitations. I would think twice before going to this place. There are other places more comforting and homely than this. First thing first they need to change the manager we were dealing with. A very rude *** who does not know how to talk to guests or his staff. Forget how he spoke with me, one time while we were at the front desk he slammed the office door at the poor girl who was trying to do her job at the front desk. I don't remember her name, but she was going to loan me a highlighter for some business of mine. She should be the manager not this fool. Believe me if I was not in the situation I currently am I would have never stayed at this place even with the family connections my mother has or had with the family while she was growing up here in New Delhi itself.

I had an excellent stay at the Zone Connect New Delhi at the beginning and end of my stay in India. I travel to India twice a year, and I felt very safe and secure as a solo female traveller at this hotel. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is very central and in a very safe area. The room was very clean. I will definitely be staying here on future visits.

The stay was good and nice better to suggest any of the peer and friends and well the family friendly hotel people are so nice specially Mr Bhuwan and their team and the best part was the breakfast timing they care a lot about the guest and the main authorities

Great hotel to close out our Golden Triangle travel experience. The hotel staff were so helpful and obliging. We were particularly appreciative of breakfast buffet staff who helped out with ginger tea for a sore throat, as well as Tinku who looked after our every housekeeping need. There is a huge shopping mall just a short walk from the hotel that offers more western cuisine for those seeking an alternative to curries and traditional Indian food.

This hotel was (in retrospect somewhat surprisingly) used for a post golden triangle tour hotel for four nights. It is in South Delhi about half an hour from the airport when traffic is quiet. If we had only stayed one night, my thoughts may have been a little different, but this is not the place to use for site seeing in Delhi, basically because it is not really near most of the classic tourist sites. If you are young, fit, and healthy, it could be possible to walk to the nearest metro station, but anyone over 40 will need transport to get to the transport. The reviews and summaries of the hotel bear no relationship to the experience we had for our four night stay. There is no vibe, atmosphere or feeling to the place as it specialises in one night stays from tour groups prior to departing. No one knew anything of any help to assist us with our intinerary of sites. Maybe the management has changed, or they have some good unreliable reviewers, but our troubles started from the moment of check in. As an older couple, which the hotel knew about, we were given a room which had been kitted out for single occupancy for one night. There was only one towel etc and three hangers in the wardrobe, even though it did have an iron. Almost every day thereafter, our room was not properly made up, even though we requested it, and we had to fight for hand-towels each day. The room was otherwise moderately sized with a good bathroom but somewhat ineffectual air conditioning. Front of house staff were largely unhelpful, inept and ineffectual and could not sort out problems. The lady on front desk most days told me she was new,and none of the other staff would listen to her, and so asking her would not be much use. The hotel is located in a side street, so it is possible to get a taxi or tuk-tuk to stop there. It is opposite a wine and spirit retail outlet, and much of the traffic in the street is related to alcohol purchase. There are three shopping malls within walking distance, and it seemed to me that the drivers for the priveleged local population were using the booze shop and a helpful snack shop a couple of doors up from the hotel. There were some excellent restaurants in the DLF mall, run to western standards, and if you really want to splash out, you can go to the Dakshin restaurant at the nearby (by taxi) Sheraton, where we had our best meal of the trip. It was not all bad news. There is an excellent breakfast of limited choice, and served by really helpful staff (My favourite was Nandina, who could not do enough for me). I am uncertain of how the restaurant works in the evening, but we had our final farewell meal of our tour there, and it turned out to be another mediochre buffet of tepid food. The doormen were also as helpful as could be expected. Unless you are only needing somewhere to bed down for the night before a flight, I would avoid this hotel. It does not merit the four stars it claims, the current batch of TripAdvisor reviews are misleading,
