Entrance is depressing. Location is behind a parking garage. Front desk staff were nice. Room was clean but smelled a little funny. Wall-mounted a/c unit runs constantly - I recommend ear plugs. Bed was fine. Towels are on the thin side. Fitness room was basic but functional. Breakfast same. Given a choice, I would not stay here again.

The hotel is totally fine, old but clean and fine. My husband and I only stay in Marriotts so we don’t even check reviews. I happened to stubble upon them the day before our stay while looking for the check in info and became real worried over the polar opposite reviews. The building is a historic building -it seems they did not fully know how to preserve but also refurbished at the same time. That being said it’s clean. There was one post about bed bugs (which bed bugs can be in the cleanest of places, not just dirty) so we checked the mattress seams for the signs and in fact looks like it’s a brand new mattress. The staff was very nice, with the little interaction we had with them as we were in and out but we got our welcome bag with water, snacks and a map of Denver. I do not know if some rooms are widely different than others but we have no complaints. The common areas again may need a modern spruce but were clean as well. I would stay again and feel the other reviews may be more harsh than necessary but I didn’t have their experience so I don’t know for sure.

Trust me you will regret to stay at this trash place. Poor staff and cleanliness. Old building and above of all it is a dirty spot in name of hospitality industry.I spent 4 days and no vacuum and towel changed . Requested at front office and they said short of staff and if you need those facilities you can change the hotel. Even GM was very rude and defending her flaws. Please don’t waste your money and your Precious vacation time. They will treat you like Sh*t.

After staying here for two nights, my husband woke up with a strange rash on different parts of his body. After a little exploring, we were able to confirm it was bed bugs. We found several eggs on our bed sheets and under the mattress. Our sheets had a few tiny blood spots and bed bug fecal matter was present. We were disgusted and frantically packed up our belongings and showered. I bathed my dog and washed two tiny bed bugs off of him. I spoke to the front desk gentleman to check out early and request a refund and he was like “Oh yeah, sorry ma’am. Let me get you the manager.” He certainly wasn’t surprised. He alerts the manager in the office behind him and asks me wait in the lobby. After waiting for several other guests to check-in, he knocks on the door and out comes AGM Tatiana Guy. Oh an empty lobby, how convenient. I describe my situation and provide the photos. She explains that since I booked through a third party, I would have to call them for my money back. She goes to check the room and returns to politely inform me how wrong I am. Since I’m positive, I am happy to point out the proof of the infestation and we head back upstairs. To my amazement, Tatiana tells me the egg sacks I have identified look like “skin from her dog.” She proceeds to condescendingly explain her “extensive training” on this matter. She insists bed bug eggs “are black and move.” She cannot be convinced that eggs, in fact, do not move. A quick Google search will confirm that eggs do not move and that they are translucent, pearl-ish white to yellow. (Spoiler Alert: The black moving things are the actual BED BUGS!) She refuses to refund our pet fee that we paid directly with the hotel upon check-in. I leave, since you can’t argue with stupid, and I am getting nowhere. Meanwhile, my husband is outside with *********. When he speaks to a representative she informs us that Tatiana herself has refused our refund and there is nothing she can do to help us. The decision is solely Tatiana’s. The experience has been traumatic but unfortunately is far from over. From a lifetime working in hospitality, I cannot fathom the mindset that would not want to resolve this immediately. There was no apology and zero effort to rectify the situation. Tatiana Guy is either A) incompetent and undertrained or B) has mastered the art of looking into your eyes and lying. Regardless, she’s unqualified for her position. Please beware, do your own research and check your sheets.

Not sure they can say breakfast is included. Coffee has an option of goat milk and 2% milk, no half and half no creamer, and management has not authorized them to purchase any. Porridge while extremely healthy is not what kids want, Fruit is old, bagels and english muffins are stale and NO bread is available. 2% milk for kids cereal should not be the only option. This is disappointing, especially when traveling long distance.
