11th Avenue Hostel

- Great location - Friendly/helpful staff - Had all the amenities we needed - Comfy bed - Seamless payment/check-in/check-out experience - Other guests were mostly quiet (there are free earplugs offered at the front desk) - As far as cleanliness, a little more attention could be paid to under the beds and in the bathroom corners the clawfoot tub is in, but overall the place felt clean. - Reasonably priced - Super cute room and bathroom. I took photos after we already settled in a bit so bear with me. - The shower head for the clawfoot tub was a little low for my 6'5'' boyfriend but totally fine for me (I'm 5'4''). We would definitely come back! :)

Amazing historical hostel. The lobby receptionist, G. Paul, was very nice and allowed me to check in a little early. The 11th Avenue Hostel is so cool, and was recently upgraded. Rooms are nicely decorated with historical posters. Rooms have all the amenities. Bathrooms and showers are fabulously decorated in historic black and white tile. Also great to have hot water! This is the nicest upscale hostel I have ever stayed. The Colfax and Cream is right next to the confortable lobby. Loved the Late and Coffee Ice Cream! I made my own Gelato! I will be back again! Be sure to visit HIstorical Colorado Museum just up the street and have a Denver Pizza after!

I selected this hostel because the cost was equivalent to affordable motels but had higher online ratings. I reserved a room with a bathroom and asked for a quiet room. There was some audible bass thumping music late Thursday night, but the A.C. and fan noise blocked it out. The room was clean, plenty big, and the bathroom was charming with its pedestal sink, white tiled floor, and clawfoot bathtub. Towels were plentiful and soft. Soap and conditioning shampoo were provided, which I didn't expect. Staff was friendly and helpful and gave me some bandaids out of their own stash. I would like to see a box of tissues in the room and room darkening drapes because it got bright in the morning. The kitchen has a $2 espresso coffee machine, a great system for keeping track of guests' food, and very dull knives. The hostel is located close to bus stops. I walked around the neighborhood, but was discouraged by the number of homeless people. All in all, I highly recommend the hostel. It's clear that a lot of care has gone into it.

As a single parent, traveling with a kid the bunk room was perfect. We were a $10 Lyft from union station, aquarium, and Meow Wolf, and only $12 from the zoo. Easy access to food and fun. There's coffee and ice cream in lobby. Fantastic pizza next door. Clean bathrooms and showers. Quiet rooms. We'll definitely use again when in Denver.

I enjoyed my stay at the 11th Avenue Hostel. The staff is very friendly and very kind. There is a bit loud but you can also find ear plug. The atmosphere is also nice and everything was very clean. The amenities are in good condition. I would definitely stay there again, if I come back to Denver.
