Excellent location if you are visiting meili snow mountain. Located just right opposite.
Room is clean and heated.
The staffs were friendly and accommodating.

Could not eat the breakfast. It was totally western - dairy products, fried egg and meat. Very bright lights all night outside. Adjacent to main road, but not very busy. English name written very small, Chinese name is 梅里往事 Pinyin name is meili wangshi. Room nice and warm, balcony, great view, but better from a couple of hotels further down the road. Binoculars in the room was a very nice touch. Directly opposite the focal point of the town (viewing platform and area where the bus terminates).

Great experience to stay at the hotel. The reality was same as the picture. Superb location with great view with only a step to Meili Night Market which was the location for sightseeing the Meili Snow Mountain. Besides, awesome service with kind and helpful staffs. Though, they cannot speak English very well but they tried to communicate with us, help us, and informing us very useful and accurate information. We have to applause the staff with white sweaters who communicated with our drivers and recommended us a lot. Also, the staff with long hair whom cooked breakfast for us. She was very kind and mannerly. Especially, the staff with purple sweater whom helped us to find the passport that my friend dropped it at the Meili Night Market once we already moved to another city. Without her my friend may not be able to get back our country. So, this hotel is very recommended once you travelled to Meili :)

This hotel offers a great location to view the Meili Snow Mountains during the morning golden peak and also sunset (if you're lucky with the weather conditions). It is right next to the bus stop, which means it is very convenient if you are planning to catch an early morning bus (in our case). Rooms can be a bit pricey, but we know that we are essentially paying for the view. The food at the hotel is also tasty, I didn't need to go and look anywhere else for dinner and breakfast. I appreciated the great help that was provided by a staff named Xiao Wei. We arrived at the hotel when it was raining and wasn't expecting to see any mountain range in sight, but then the sky suddenly cleared up during the evening just shortly before sunset whilst we were having dinner and Xiao Wei came over to tell us to go and have a look at the snow mountain, which made our hearts rushed with joy. We also appreciated when Xiao Wei told us again during night time that the mountain range was visible so we quickly opened the curtain to treat ourselves with another fantastic view. The viewing platform on the top floor is a great location to see the sunrise and golden peak. I personally think it's even better viewing at the Feilai Temple platform that most tourists go to. On a final note, Xiao Wei again was very kind to help us by going to the bus platform at 8.30 AM in the morning to help us purchase the bus tickets from the driver (we couldn't do so as wechat pay didn't work for us).
We were very happy with our stay here and got very lucky with some of the best views during our entire Yunnan trip. Thank you very much to Xiao Wei and the staff at Once Upon A Time in Meili :)

Location was optimal as we were able to see the Meili Snow Mountain through the balcony from our room, as well as going to the 5th floor viewing area. Fantastic accommodation with good views, good breakfast and they also provided binoculars in the room for the views. Staff were friendly and also helped to moved our luggage to our room using their cargo lift, overall a very comfortable stay 😃

Mountain view with binoculars available for sight seeing at the balcony. The toilet was comfortable with room heater. Oxygen supply was also available. Recommend for short stay at Meili

location is best, you can cast sun rise ay hotel level 5, heating is enough and you won't feel cold when sleep or wash. only issue is no elevator, so pick low level rooms would be easier.

The accommodation is located across the road from the bus terminal (less then 3mins walk). It is simple, clean and comes with a balcony facing the Meili mountains. A simple breakfast was also served during the stay (after 7.30am) and there was sufficient time to catch the early bus for any journey onwards (e.g. 8am bus to Ninong Village for hike to Yubeng). Out of convenience, we also had dinner at the restaurant which serves nice Chinese food.
