La Petronilla Boutique Hotel Moganshan

Was a perfect weekend getaway into lovely forest surroundings. The staff is polite and the service excellent and very personalized.

We stayed at this incredibly child-friendly boutique hotel for two nights, but honestly, we could have stayed much longer — everything was just perfect! The room design was clean, simple, and tasteful. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal felt like it was made with care. What impressed us most was the balance between professionalism and genuine hospitality — the staff were always helpful, warm, and attentive. We left with wonderful memories and would happily return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended, especially for families with young children!

Lovely accomodation. The overall service was warm and friendly. The eggplant parmesan was my favorite dish as well as fresh juice. The room looked just like the pictures. They do seem to need a bit more staff to cook and serve when the dining area gets busy. Pre-ordering meals doesn't necessarily mean that all food will be ready at once. Our friends had about 40 minutes wait between dishes. Also, the first morning, breakfast was served beuatifully. The second morning, we had to inquire about different parts of our breakfast since it was not all served at once. Overall, very kind service with a smile. The welcome fruit was a nice touch.

About the room: clean, really comfy bed. Shower was great (strong water pressure which was rare in mountain hotel). Coffee capsules were of good quality- handy when wanting to enjoy a cuppa first thing in the morning with a mountain view. Hotel location: quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of town centre which was perfect for a relaxing holidays. Local Chinese food restaurants were only 15 mins walk away. Easy to get Didi to go nearby town too. Also, it’s easy to get to multiple hiking trails in the area. Service: overall is fine. Staff was flexible and accommodating to meet guests’ needs. However, much improvement is needed for housekeeping as it was not done for one of the days during my stay and I had to ask for it at the end of the day. And water and coffee was not automatically replenished on certain days. Other than those minor incidents, the service and staff’s hospitality was good. Food: great breakfast. Restaurant menu was decent. But it will be nicer to have offerings like sandwiches for a light lunch option.

We had such a lovely stay at this hotel. The service, the food and the atmosphere was the highest standard. They were very welcoming with the dogs and made everything very easy. I will be visiting again very soon. Thank you.

My friend and I travelled from Hangzhou to have a relaxing weekend away in nature. It's truly lived up to our expectations! We had a welcoming arrival, and quickly checked into our room. We had pre ordered our dinner and were soon sat at our table enjoying a delicious pizza and a glass of procecco 🥂. Room was clean and with a beautiful view, teas and coffees included. Breakfast was also delicious with a good choice. We were very lucky as we came on a weekend where there was a bbq and free flow wine option and even joined in with a pizza making workshop. We will definitely be back soon!
