We had a private hire meal for a group of 13 for a friend's 40th birthday. The venue is beautiful and requires very little dressing (they provided the linens and candles). The food was very tasty, fresh, well presented and reasonably priced. A big shout out to Zoe and Kimbereley who went above and beyond to look after us. They are brilliant and Zoe makes the best brownies I've ever had! I haven't stayed overnight (yet) but have seen some of the rooms and they are stunning. They have a cute garden too. I would definitely recommend for private hire and for their pop up restaurant nights (I've been to a few!). The Coachouse is a definite gem of Derby!

Very handy location! A well appointed room, we stayed in the old stables complex and had a restful two nights in Derby. The staff are friendly and welcoming, breakfasts were way too much food, though enjoyable. We loved the "snug" for an evening drink. We'd definately stay again on our return to Derby

We booked to hold my 60th party at The Coach House and I could not have been more impressed. From the first meeting with Zoe and viewing the room and bedrooms (we booked 5 rooms for guests) to the communication and the event and stay. The food was fantastic, atmosphere perfect and Kimberly could not have done any more to make my birthday party run smoothly. Bedrooms all unique and beautifully decorated. Just perfect - what a team - thank you

The staff were very welcoming, and were flexible with check in time. We were early but our room was ready. This is an old period property with character, which has lovely decor and was very clean and comfortable. It has an additional converted stable block with three rooms at the rear of the property. Lovely outside space for use in the summer. It is very convenient for bus travel if you want to leave your car, particularly if travelling into Derby city centre.

We stayed 2 nights at the coach house to attend a wedding nearby. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived and also both mornings at breakfast. A variety of options were available for breakfast & the homemade granola was delicious, as was everything else. Rooms were individual; linen & towels were high quality & plenty of tea & coffee was available in the room, chocolate brownies were left downstairs for us to help ourselves to, very moorish! We had a lovely walk around Darley Park which is just across the road from this great little hotel.

We stayed at The Coach House and organized a 60th wedding anniversary for our parents in the dining room. Our stay was fabulous and all had a great time. Zoe and Kimberley made us feel so very welcome throughout our stay. The rooms were excellent. The dinner was homemade and delicious. All-in-all, the experience was beyond our expectations. In a world that increasingly feels transactional, stay at The Coach House for the more personal touch!

Lovely little hotel, it really is as nice as it looks on the photos, staff very accommodating, we arranged an early check in at 12 but were able to access our room as soon as we arrived at 11.30, as it was all ready for us. Bed was really comfy, Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was really good, great choice from full English to poached eggs and Salmon. Also home made Granola and other cereal available. So much nicer staying in a small family run hotel than in a big chain hotel, the personal touches and customer care is so much better. Dogs were also welcome here.

This is a guest house. If you are arrivng later than six arrang access with Zoe .Lovely place . Highlight was ! Lody called Zoe who was so bright and bubbly in the morning it lifted our whole day . The breakfast was also freshly prepared and lovely .

This is a lovely old house . It must be great in the summer. I enjoyed the breakfast which was clearly freshly cooked. Fresh fruit would be a good addition. The rooms are lovely but I found mine dark and cold. Also I found the bed too soft and uncomfortable. The parking is a problem.
