Alessi Hotel Trattoria

Location,location,location! We loved it! If you are looking for a nice hotel at the town center, this is the perfect one! Breakfast is really nice and you can have it outside with a lovely view. Hotel is renovated,spacious, air-conditioned and quiet. Staff is nice. Absolutely recommended

Fabulous location, just off the main square and the bars/restaurants. Boats/ferry virtually on the doorstop, so never had to go too far if we didn't want to. Train station about 15 mins walk away, easier downhill, not so quick on the way up with bags! For some reason I was expecting a smaller family run hotel. It seemed to be much bigger than I expected and that 'family feel' was lacking unfortunately. Majority of the time there was no one at reception and other than one staff member (or family) the rest seemed pretty uninterested. The hotel room was brown and although had 2 windows, looked onto the back of the building making the room felt quite dark. It was quiet though as long as the windows were closed and the room was clean. A continental breakfast was included. We were there for a week and unfortunately after the first couple of days there was no fruit available and from day 3/4 most of the breakfast offerings were mostly gone at least half hour before breakfast ended, which led to a few disgruntled guests and a few leaving still hungry. Other than breakfast, we did eat at the hotel a couple of times. The food was nice, though I felt a bit overpriced. Service was good on the first occasion but pretty indifferent on the second occasion. It felt like the owners' priority was on running the restaurants, which were busy, both at lunchtime and evening. The hotel was very convenient but overpriced for what it offered...but then I guess we went peak time...! I don't think I would rebook the hotel if I was to go back to Desanzano.

Excellent location to explore Lake Garda. The hotel located right in the centre of the town. You have a lot of choice of restaurants around the area or you can dine in at the hotel as they have a great restaurant. The breakfast is good & for dinner the food is excellent & value for money. Bruno is a great host. Definitely recommended

The food and wine were excellent, but at the upper end of mid range prices. My only negative is that what appears to be indoors is in fact a covered courtyard thus it seemed that the entire Alessi O was a smoking area. I couldn't find a no-smoking area.

We arrived at night in need of a place to stay because my husband had had an operation and couldn’t fly. They found us a strange room, but it seemed like Paradise to us. The next day they were moved us to a very comfortable room where we stayed for 12 nights. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was substantial and varied. We liked the hotel more every day and are sorry to leave.

A charming hotel, with very helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay and the fact that we had wonderful room 414 and the Terrace area made our holiday complete. Special thanks go to Shah, Sumer, Mattia and Mohammed for the wonderful service, and of course to Bruno for his hospitality

central location in pedestrian only area, car park upon request , amazing continental buffet breakfast, all staff has been very helpful and kind especially Nicole who gave us all the infos , recommended their restaurant , we’ll be back for sure

Great informative staff. Had a very nice welcome. Good sized budget apartment (165). Had a balcony over looking the restaurant. Noise did not bother us at all but would recommend not this room if you like absolute quiet. Excellent room service. Location is amazing. Cant really fault anything here. Enjoy :)

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana in questo albergo centralissimo. Il palazzo è austero in mezzo a questo vicolo in salita, sono concorde con i titolari con i quali abbiamo parlato più volte che avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata...ma dentro è bellissimo, ci sono tantissime stanze dove si può fare colazione e mangiare..proprio su questo ultimo punto vorrei soffermarmi : una cucina deliziosa , abbiamo assaggiato quasi tutto il menù e non abbiamo mai trovato una nota negativa...bravissimi in cucina, nelle sale , e simpaticissimi e cordiali la Signora Nadia , suo marito Bruno , e il sorprendente Oscar intenditore di vini....non si può chiedere altro ad un soggiorno.
