Hwange Safari Lodge

新裝修，離main camp很近，第二天去自駕記得帶吃的，整整餓了倆娃一天

We stayed in Hwange for 2 nights travelling back from Vic Falls. We had an amazing game drive courtesy of driver Bheki who spotted a leopard and we saw a lion. Food was very good on both nights for dinner with great service, only issue was communication prior to check-in as pool was under maintenance upon arrival which was a disappointment after 5 hour journey in 30+ degrees temp but was working following day.

Generally a pleasant stay. Please encourage staff not to constantly badger guests for reviews throughout the day, it gets overwhelming as as many as 5 different people can come to your meal tables alternating to ask how the service or meal is.

We loved the hotel surroundings and the view from the rooms and from the garden the most. We were able to watch animals passing by or coming to drink from the small ponds right in front of the hotel. Amazing! The staff was very nice and pleasant. The rooms were very spacious with comfortable beds. The mosquito nets were absolute perfection. The restaurant was great, the food, the service... we enjoyed it. There were two things we did not like that made our stay not totally perfect. One is that the swimming pool was under some maintenance during whole our stay. We were not able to use it at all and nobody informed us or even said sorry. Another thing is that the national park is about half an hour of drive far from the hotel, it means that one hour of the game drive is to get there and back and two hours of the game drive in the park. The game drives were a bit too short for us.

World class service throughout. HSL has really surpassed my expectation from the booking, reception, meals, accommodation and game drive. Well done team.
