酒店餐廳的廚師很好，很友善， 酒店的保姆很有耐心 英文很好 酒店管家和經理 能力很差，對比中國管家他們還需要有很大很大的改善。他們酒店的管家和經理我覺得他要再上一些持續進修課程，當管家的能力實在太差勁。原定預訂了兩晚水上屋帶泳池和一晚沙灘屋帶泳池，當我長途跋涉到達酒店，告訴我，我第一晚的水上屋帶泳池滿房了，安排第二種房間給我，旁邊還有很多不同國籍的人入住，只有我們是中國人，感覺就像被不認真對待，把我們的房間讓給了他人，水上屋帶泳池的定價比我們入住的房間是較昂貴的。他們給我們的彌補，只是我們用房間的差價買了。第二晚終於安排了我們入住水上屋帶泳池，但最令人憤怒的事情，就是要我們早上10:00把房間交出來，然後再轉去沙灘屋，我說退房時間不是12點嗎？為什麼要我10點就要把房間交出來？那為什麼？我昨天入住的時候不是早上呢？我小朋友還在房間裏睡覺。另外酒店的沙灘上有很多垃圾，馬爾代夫不是一個很漂亮的地方嗎？為什麼充滿了垃圾呢？這些都是酒店排出來的嗎？全部都是由鮮榨橙汁橙皮和其他水果皮？另外酒店毛巾是黃黃灰灰的，不是雪白的？

A beautiful property with the best staff. My wife and I spent 5 wonderful nights there. Our concierge Jazey was a great host who made our trip seamless. We went night fishing, shark, watching, and a sunset dolphin cruise and saw spinner dolphins. We stayed in a lagoon room with a pool it. We enjoyed the food at the market, the was plenty of choice and even handmade pasta. The menu changed and kept it interesting. I do have to shout out the staff again, this resort excels at friendly customer service. Shout out to Sheik, who worked in the bar and the very special Valentine birthday dinner we attended for my wife. Anyway after 5 nights the resort flew us by seaplane to their other resort You and Me which I will also review.

Our leisurely week at Joy Island Resort, Maldives formed part of a multi centre trip with Affordable Luxury Travel, London. On our arrival, having transfered from Male airport by one of the hotel's own speedboats, we were received with a warm greeting at the quayside from some of the hotel staff along with Jazey, who was to be our host for our stay. A charming and professional man who always made of point of checking each day that our needs were being met at the resort. He took us on a buggy ride around the resort on check in and was always available to ensure we had everything we needed. He even went as far as arranging an upgrade from the spectacular Beach Bungalow we had booked to an over the water Lagoon villa for the last two nights. Something that we had not expected, but this personal touch made us feel very special indeed. Though the beach bungalow was fantastic it was lovely to have had the experience of both. Our first five nights were in a Beach Bungalow and you could not fault it for cleanliness. Open your hotel room veranda's doors and step out from the terrace onto powder white sand and crystal clear azure Indian Ocean. With two comfortable sun loungers and a fixed palm umberalla what better way to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were amply taken care of at The Market where there was a wide range of cuisines even for the most fussy of palates. The 'Room of Sin' an air-conditioned room for beautiful cakes, pastries and desserts was a delight for those like me with a sweet tooth! All the staff at the restaurant deserve a special mention as they were all very friendly, greeting you everday and the Chefs who were on hand to whip up an omelette for breakfast or cut some choice cuts of meat for dinner. If only life's problems were deciding on which cocktail to have as a sundowner or what to have for dinner ! The last two nights were in an over the water Lagoon Villa. Spectacular, you couldn't fault its own infinity pool, that is known as the Indian Ocean. With Rays, a plethora of tropical fish and even the odd baby black tipped reef shark passing by the villas steps this made for an unforgettable experience. A minor point for the Cocoon Collection... I understand that this is a relatively newly built resort (2023?) as someone who is keen to see conservation it would be nice to think that more could be done with the introduction of establishing new coral if that is not already something that is being implemented. Luxurious, romantic, immaculately clean, what more is there to say...... Hope to return someday soon!

We stayed at the hotel from February 12-20, 2025. The first plus is the transfer to the island, a representative met us and after 5 minutes we were already on the boat, after 45 minutes we were already on the island. The transfer does not depend on the time of day. The island is +1 hour from Male. Upon arrival, we were met by a wonderful guest relation Ako, who was in touch with us throughout the vacation, and any of our requests were fulfilled as soon as possible. First, we stayed in a beach villa at sunrise - where there was a beautiful bay closed by breakwaters, I recommend staying there with children. Then we stayed in a beach villa with a pool facing the sunset. The villa is wonderful with an incredible view in the evening. We also stayed in a water villa at sunset, which was also wonderful. I want to say about the service: you will be surrounded by competent, friendly staff. The restaurant has food for every taste, lots of vegetables, fruits, fresh fish and seafood. In the evening, there was good animation, which turned into a disco. The mini bar was replenished every day, and this was 2 bottles of wine (white, red), beer, juices and other soft drinks. Drinking water was replenished, cleaning was done 2 times a day. I really liked the hotel, so I recommend it.

The Joy Resort in Maldives captures nature’s beauty at its best! Crystal clear aqua blue water, incredible snorkeling with turtles, sting rays, and a magnificent spectrum of dazzling tropical fish of all colors, shapes and sizes. Stunning sunsets, great food, and wonderful island staff offering impeccable service and the warmest hospitality. Everything we dreamed of and more! It’s truly a paradise!

We had an amazing experience in the Joy island by cocoon. The staff was very friendly and very supportive . The kiddie cove was something my daughter enjoyed the most . The welcome gesture provided by the staff was which I have never seen in other restaurants .
