Had an amazing time at Mt. Mahabharat! Lovely views of the Himalayas right from the doorstep, clean rooms, healthy organic food, fast Wi-Fi, and a responsive, accommodating, and understanding host. Great experience!

I’m writing a delayed review since I didn’t write one in spring 2022 where I visited but since I’m coming back to mount mahabrat in a few months I’m so excited to do. I stayed with kamal and his family for 6 weeks it was beautiful and very chill for a overthinking European like me. I leaned to calm down at take on day at a time like everyone else in village, except the funny melody busses. Helping with harvesting playing with Djennis and his big brother Kushal. My work there was supposed to be hiking guide but due to corona nepal was not very visited at the time. So I got to spent time living like a Nepali citizen. It was amazing the family is lovely and they will bring you to weddings in the village or dance parties in tents where you will be forced to dance with locals in the sweetest way. I was lucky to involve in a cow giving birth, seeing bees fight over the different beehives around the house, eat edible flowers and enjoy Goma and Kupinis homemade food thee times a day which is unbelievably good. Learning about kamals skilled history of his youth, his knowledge for hypnosis and Hindu teachings. I Can highly recommend going here ❤️

We stayed at Mount Mahabharat Homestay for 2 days. The food was organic produced in our own farm. We harvested honey from local bees of Cerana species. Camping with Mahabharata Hike was unforgettable. Thanks to the host with a promise to come again with more recommendations to Mount Mahabharata, a wonderful destination for majestic views.

We had a lovely stay at Mount Mahabharat Homestay. Kamal and his whole family made us feel at home from the moment we walked in (there even was a welcome ceremony). Me and my girlfriend felt sick the first 3 days and everyone was helping us to get better. You get a chance to see the dayly life of a nepali family, help with chores on the farm and eat homegrown delicious food. Near the Homestay there are several hikes you can do with beautifull view of the himalayas (on a clear day). We got lucky and stayed a night on top of the mountain during full moon next to a warm campfire. We would suggest anyone to go here! Kamal will help you with any further questions you might have. This has been the best start of our trip we could have imagened.

A beautiful location with lively waterfalls in trails all around. The peak is super amazing and camping there overnight is one of the most beautiful experience . Kamal dai have their own farm and they serve the authentic organic meal . The love of the family and serine beauty makes it overwhelming 🙏

I had a truly enjoyable stay at Mount Mahabharat Farm. The family there is incredibly friendly and welcoming. This place genuinely felt like a home away from home for me. The surrounding landscape is fantastic, offering opportunities for hikes to the mountain's summit or to a small waterfall. I had the chance to immerse myself in Nepali food culture by assisting in meal preparation using vegetables sourced from the farm. The food always tasted delicious.

Kamal and his family are super nice and take you directly into their family. You get to experience life on the farm first hand and are allowed to try out everything and help out everywhere. Everything is very clean and we even had a room for ourselves. The food is super tasty and is always freshly prepared from the farm's vegetables. The work on the farm is fun and you can arrange it yourself without any pressure. During our stay we have made many great hikes to the surrounding mountains together with Kanal and twice even camped on the summit.

For me, here is a bridge to meet wonderful people, get to know the culture and see up close that these wonderful people offer you love and the best they have, with how hard they work and how much they offer, my respect with all my heart ,and if we talk about nature woooo...the mountains have an energy that can help you heal things in your life and your family, as long as you open your heart and surrender, I recommend to every person who wants a change in their life and maybe more than that (it depends on you) thank you Kamal for so many things, for so many adventures, for doing possible to be here , thank, thank, thank you!!
