Diani Sea Lodge - All Inclusive

올인클루시브 리조트 찾다가 평도 괜찮고 가격도 적당해 이용하게 되었습니다. 음식이 맛있고 해변 예쁘고 직원들 친절합니다. 다양한 액티비티가 있습니다. 깊은 (3미터) 수영장이 있어 다이빙 연습하기 좋았습다. 단점은 파리가 아주 많습니다.

有小偷 大家注意保管好財物

The pool and beach area are absolutely beautiful and are definitely the highlight of this hotel (and the main reason we chose it). We loved getting drinks at the bar, swimming in the pool, and relaxing at the shaded areas by the beach. These outdoor spaces are beautiful, and we loved them. We also appreciated the lobby area and liked how there were several gift shops, containing items like flip flops and aloe vera. However, we were disappointed with some other aspects of the hotel. First, while the buffet has a wonderful presentation and looks great, the food itself was not good. The stations where staff made fresh food were good, but everything else was subpar. The meats were very overcooked, and the breads were very dry. The breakfast, however, was much better than dinner (we didn't eat any lunches at the main restaurant). I saw in another review that the pool snack bar had better food (albeit unspectacular), and we found that to be true as well. Another main area of frustration was the bathroom in our room. It is impossible to take a shower without soaking the floor as there is no door to the shower, and the drain does not absorb all the water. We bled through an entire towel and needed another in order to clean up the floor after each shower. The water is also not hot at all. This was a huge frustration as a nice shower is super important for the beach. We also found a decent number of ants in our room. We understand that we are at the beach with bugs, but we did not expect to find as many ants in our room as we saw. While it wasn't horrible, there were still more bugs in our room at this hotel than there were in the other hotels we stayed in while in Kenya. Finally, the staff were not super friendly at this hotel. At every other hotel we stayed at, the staff were so welcoming and friendly; there was a noticeable difference when coming to Diani Sea Lodge. The staff here helped us with our questions, but it always seemed like we were bothering them. Overall, while our experience wasn't horrible, we would not recommend this hotel. The beautiful pool and beach areas are not enough to make up for the issues we had.

Advantages. Staff are very friendly, try to solve problems. For me, for example, specially treated the room from mosquitoes. Food to my taste is good, even thanked the chef. Holiday dinner was organized almost perfectly. The room is simple, but everything you need is there - even a mosquito net. Disadvantages. In the restaurant an abundance of flies. Twice complained to the staff including the manager. Nothing changed. This is the main reason for lowering the score of the hotel. Beach umbrellas are clearly not enough and even at 8 am they are already all occupied. Recommended the manager to increase their number at least 2 times. Need directional signs to the rooms. If the day is cloudy, there will be no hot water in the room. There is a high threshold in the room which is not marked in any way. It is easy to trip at night. Didn't like the mattress - felt bumps. Hints. I recommend bathing shoes - there are sea urchins in the water. Be prepared for beach boys on the beach.

Diani Sea Lodge offers a beautiful location, spacious rooms, and excellent cuisine. However, early morning sunbed reservations, despite being officially prohibited, are tolerated by management, leading to dissatisfaction. The Diani Sea Lodge on Kenya's south coast is a very good and charming beach resort with an excellent location directly on the white sands of Diani Beach. Although the spacious rooms are no longer in the latest condition, their cleanliness and well-kept furnishings are impressive. The culinary offer is varied and tasty. However, one major point of criticism concerns the management and the handling of the sun loungers on the beach. Despite clear instructions on the TV screens that reserving sun loungers with towels is prohibited, this behaviour is practised by many guests and not prevented (or perhaps even supported) by the staff. As a result, a considerable number of sunbeds are reserved but unused after breakfast, which causes a great deal of resentment among many guests, including myself. In summary, Diani Sea Lodge offers a very nice holiday experience with friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. However, the management should take urgent action to ensure compliance with their own rules regarding sunbed reservations to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of all guests.
