Waterlovers Beach Resort

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at this lovely beach front hotel. Nicely finished, the rooms are practical and stylish. Beds are comfortable and a good size. The bathrooms are of a good size and accessible. The balconies have a fantastic view over the Indian Ocean and are great to catch the sunrise and early morning sun. There's definitely no need to stay in bed, there's a clean and well maintained pool. The restaurant has a good selection of food and the bar is well stocked. All of the staff are kind and considerate, very pleasant to talk to and accommodating to individual requests. This is the perfect small hotel for a relaxed family stay. 5 days didn't seem long enough and we were very sad to say goodbye.

There aren't enough words to describe this place, but perfection is one of them! I stayed here 4 nights solo after a long camping trip through Kenya and Uganda. It was absolutely wonderful, just what I'd hoped for. So quiet and peaceful, elephant cottage was simply stunning. Very helpful and friendly staff and I could never tire of the views. You will not regret staying in this little slice of paradise - I will treasure my memories of this beautiful place forever. Book it!

Our stay at the Waterlovers Beach Resort was absolutely amazing—a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Kenyan coast. This small, intimate resort is located right on the beach, offering stunning views of the ocean framed by swaying palms and lush trees. The entire property has a tranquil and welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and feel at home. We stayed in the villa with our group of eight, which was perfect for spending time together while still having plenty of space. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night was incredibly soothing. The resort provides plenty of loungers with beautiful beach views, as well as hanging beds and hammocks, making it easy to relax and soak up the serene environment. The ocean is just steps away, and it’s perfect for snorkeling. We were amazed by the vibrant underwater world, spotting countless starfish and colorful fish right off the shore. The staff at Waterlovers are exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They offered great advice and assistance with organizing excursions, which made planning our outings effortless. The food was another highlight: a fantastic selection that catered to both children and vegetarians, with everything freshly prepared and incredibly delicious. The team’s humor and warmth, especially during meals, made us feel right at home. The small bar was another favorite spot, serving excellent cocktails made with fresh fruits. A special thank you to Abdullah, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He not only prepared amazing drinks but also included our children in the fun by showing them how to make mocktails and letting them help behind the bar—a truly special experience for them! For those who want to explore, there’s a small shopping area nearby with a supermarket and shops for souvenirs, adding a bit of convenience to the stay. Waterlovers Beach Resort is the perfect place to relax after a safari. Its serene location, excellent service, and welcoming atmosphere make it an ideal spot to unwind and recharge. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and peaceful beach getaway!

No words can explain the perfection there since first minutes you arrived to Waterlovers. Starting from people from the staff - everybody is a friend here, I loved our chats around. Service is exceptional everywhere you are: management desk, restaurant, bar, beach. You feel like in paradise, so relaxing atmosphere because staff takes care of you in so professional way! Here special thanks to Suliman, Ali, Jaquiline, Lilianne, Harrison - you are such a great people and you made our experience in Waterlovers so special to remember not only place but especially about the people making this place so stunning.:) And Hassan :) - such a special thanks for all our huddles gossiping on monkeys in the resort - you really make friendship environment which is really unique! See you again friend as we will definitely come back;) Beach - just beautiful and safe to swim Rooms - we have water view and villa, both just 10/10:) Villa is fun as monkeys are nearby and this was for us like natual zoo - this is out of world experience to see Colobus monkeys in front of your door Food - Oh! The Chief is a magician, the meals deserve Michelin star for sure there! Bravo!

Waterlovers is a true piece of paradise. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had the most wonderful stay. The staff are AMAZING! They are so friendly & helpful & make you feel special. Whether it is some banter over breakfast or just chatting over a cocktail, they really do make you feel like you are surrounded by friends. The resort itself is beautiful. The rooms are magnificent with wonderful decor and huge bathrooms. The design of the resort makes it feel secluded and peaceful. There is a lovely pool and plenty of sun loungers. The food is also excellent. Breakfast is a wonderful choice of fresh fruits, freshly baked breads and pastries with homemade jams and granola. There is a cooked option too which is fantastic. Lunch and evening menus are also great with a good choice including local fresh ingredients. It was our 25th Wedding Anniversary & the chef made us a cake to celebrate. It was so delicious and we shared it with all the staff as it was huge! Waterlovers is the place you dream of and it really does live up to what you hope it will be. The sand is white, the sun is warm and the Kenyan hospitality just makes everyone feel happy! We had such an idyllic stay & would go back in a heartbeat!
