We stayed here from the 8-22nd Aug 2024. Overall it was a good stay for the money, however there are a few issues this place needs to resolve to make it better for others in the future. On first glance the pictures make this place look amazing, so they should, it’s marketing. However once you arrive you can see this hotel was clearly an old building and has had a recent revamp, but to an economic standard. Melike, on the front desk was superb, we had a few issues through the stay and she solved the problems quickly and professionally. One being our bathroom ceiling leaking due to faulty drains from the bathroom above. We were moved within 12 hrs. The room was the same just on a different floor. I have to agree with most posts on here that the AC is poor, very poor. However the new room seemed to be ok. Why use 4 screws when 2 and some sealant will hold a shaving mirror? Or simply screwing the mirror frame to the wall rather than hand it? The finishing touches are interesting. But again, it was a room to sleep and wash, nothing more. We had a standard room- double bed, single and a pull out chair bed. Just a tip, by a lilo and use that on the pull out. The balcony was facing the road which was fine, but the opposite hotel must have a noise competition with the LAUR. This was in the main hotel, as there is a sister building next door that houses the 24hr restaurant. There are a variety of restaurants here:- 1. Main Restaurant- this opens from 7 am and runs to 10am for breakfast, 12-2pm for Lunch and 7-9pm for dinner. This had everything you would expect and plenty of it. My advice would be to go early to get a table and save waiting for one to be cleared. There is limited staff here and the pay is poor so don’t expect the ritz. Don’t get me wrong, the staff work hard, there is just not enough of them for the number of guests. This needs improving for high season. 2. Daphne’s- 24hr restaurant. This is in the sister building. It is a waitress/ waiter lead service. You choose 1 of each of the choices per guest. Not multiple meals / plates of food. To be fair this was a welcome change and worked well on arrival and departure. 3. Kitchen and bar - 12-4 pm outside restaurant used at lunch for burgers and wraps. Also used as the Turkish restaurant for the a la Carte option. 4. Ice cream bar- this was open from 12 noon to 4 pm. 3 flavours max- vanilla, Banana andPistachio. This formed the Italian restaurant for the evening a la Carte. 5. Flat bread bar- down the stairs past the small pool. A great find. For daily drinks you have the main pool bar over the bridge, opens at 10am. The ground floor bar from 7 am, staff permitting, the beach bar and the small pool bar down the stairs towards the beach. The cabanas by the infinity pool are €50 and the ones on the pier €25. Sun beds, be down before 07:30am to sort your sun beds. Take your own towels as a starter. Then use the hotel ones, these are brought round by the bab
