Jet Hotel Zurich Airport

Le service est de très bonne qualité, le personnel est très accueillant et fort sympathique , les installations sont bonnes , il n'y a pas de restauration le soir mais la réception m'a conseillé un (excellent) restaurant italien a seulement 600m de l'hôtel ... petit déjeuner complet , café excellent.

We were sent to this hotel by the airline due to delayed flight and missing our connection. After an exhausting day at the airport, we arrived at the hotel at 5pm. The man behind the desk told us rudely there are no rooms ready and we’ll have to wait an hour. So we sat in the lobby and then asked about getting food. He said there will be pizza after 6pm or go elsewhere ( they had our vouchers). We finally got checked in at 8pm and when I asked where is the pizza, he yelled that he’s not going to cook 2 pizzas and if I didn’t like it to go somewhere else. There were 15 people waiting! Finally at 8:15pm the cheap frozen pizzas were cooked. Very low quality pizza. It was a ridiculous and unpleasant situation. He was beyond rude and couldn’t care less about his customers.

We missed our connector flight from Zurich to Toronto due to a Swiss airline flight delay and were put up in the Jet Hotel by Swiss Air for one night until our rescheduled flight the following day. When the shuttle arrived with other stranded passengers at the Hotel at 4:00 after a long, frustrating day , we were yelled at by the manager who said they weren't ready for us due to full occupancy the night before. The disrespectful and rude treatment from the manager continued throughout our short stay and the supper the Hotel was supposed to provide was a small flavorless margarita pizza with a coke. We were made to feel like an inconvenience and imposition at a time we were already feeling stressed and disoriented. A very disappointing experience.

Hotel is across the street from the Rümlang train station (stand with your back to the train station, look across the tracks and see the Jet Hotel sign on the building. Use the pedestrian tunnel to come out near the overgrown pedestrian path that leads to the front door of the hotel.) in order to take the train to the airport, you have to connect in Zurich at Oerlikon station. Tim checked me in at 1:30 p.m. -- 30 minutes prior to normal check-in. He was polite and helpful. My second floor room had a balcony with blinds on a track (use button near bathroom to operate blinds). I could open my balcony doors and have the blinds open or closed. Although there are no nightstands, no light over the desk, and only four hangers, it suffices for an overnight stay at the airport. My room was clean and the bathroom was nice. It appeared to be recently renovated. No kettle or coffee in the room although coffee is available in the lobby. Breakfast does not start until 6:30, so no food available before that if you have an early flight. I signed up for the 6:07 a.m. shuttle for 10 CHF. The van came on time and there were no problems. However, the van has one drop off at the airport and I had quite a long walk to the United airlines check it desk. I know other reviewers noted problems during late night check-ins. I did not experience this, but I checked in early.

A very non professional receptionist who are not present after 11 pm. When you ask about information they are always not cooperative. Only one elevator, very poor restaurant , very boring breakfast with no varieties of food, there are bugs in the room appears at night, view is not amazing, room does not have refrigaerator , u can not make your own hot drink inside the room u must go down and take, no water bottles inside the room, no security man after 11 pm, no receptionist , no TV to watch football match of Switzerland in the hotel, no phone inside the room, no laundry , no no no no ….. I strongly do not recommend this hotel as it is not 3 stars even

We were booked into this hotel after missing a connection due to flight delays. The hotel was basic but very clean. Our rooms were good. However, the man on reception was so rude and intimidating. We only had the clothes we were standing in due to our luggage being stuck in transit. When we asked for some basic supplies eg toothbrush & toothpaste, the response was shockingly rude. We were entitled to a meal & drink, we received a £1 cheese pizza each. Nothing else was available. We were told we could have a soft drink or a beer from the fridge, the rude man shouted at my husband for picking up the wrong beer. It was so bad it was laughable!

Stayed here for approximately 10 hours after our flight was cancelled at the last minute. Hotel is okay. Comfortable bed and generally clean, aside from the old cheese which had been left in the room's fridge. Not a hotel to stay in for more than one night.

We stayed here one night. We appreciated that the hotel was very quiet despite being so close to the airport. Our room was basic and clean. We were looking forward to the breakfast provided by the hotel however when we arrived at the breakfast area, it was a zoo! It was so messy and crowded, no available tables. We thought we'd just get some food items to go, but there were just empty bread baskets and food trays - absolutely no food left at around 8am. We went back to the room to give the staff time to restock the buffet, went back down again a half hour later and some thing, no food to be had but there were tables available, lots of messy tables. Ended up going to a restaurant down the road for breakfast.

We stayed 5 nights in a triple room. The room was spacious and clean, came with a refrigerator. Good included breakfast. What we liked was that they had a nice area outside you could sit and have a drink (bring your own or have a beer or wine that they sell). You can use the area inside or outside to eat anything you bring back to the hotel, they have microwave you can use. The staff was pleasant, we had no issues. If you walk out of the back of the hotel the train and bus station is less than 5 min. Keep in mind this is a limited service hotel, no restaurant. There are 4 restaurants and a grocery store within a 5-15 min walk.
