After my husband was injured at the Hotel des Ducs, I called this hotel and the owner arranged for a cab to pick us up. The staff helped my husband out of the cab, sat him down, and gave us cold drinks. The staff helped him up to our room, and they made us comfortable. Twice my husband fell while holding a glass, and the staff was extremely gracious about the clean up. The room was large and spacious, and the staff made every effort to help us. When we went to check out, the owner refused to take a tip for her staff, as she said that service was what the hotel offered. In comparison to how we were treated at the Hotel des Ducs, the contrast was amazing. I will always be grateful to the owner for the kindness that she showed me when I really needed help. The hotel is lovely, the breakfast is very nice, and the service is exceptional. I can't say enough positive things about this hotel. The standard of service beats anything that I have seen in 50 years of traveling. You shouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Dijon.
